Managed to get the refund sorted tonight after a call back from an ATG manager. I'll rebook once we get the new confirmed dates. At the moment the £85 is better in my bank account rather than in someone else's. I'm happy to forego the priority booking until we get more news about the production dates.

Having said my refund would be processed almost two weeks ago, they now - having had a note from me yesterday mentioning the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - tell me it's only been processed this morning and will take 10 to 14 days to reach my account. I'm fortunate in not needing the money back urgently but this is appalling stalling tactics by ATG. I've had refunds from five other theatre/concert/sports ticketing providers sorted far more efficiently - the giant AXS managed it in 24 hours!
Anyone else struggling just wave a mention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 under their noses!

I just wish they would be consistent with their answers. I was told on the phone 2 weeks ago that my refunds would 3-5 days and still nothing yet others are being told of longer waits. Almost as if the pluck an answer out of the air. Following on from my phone call with ATG on Tuesday, the refund has now appeared in my bank account today. I'm just glad its all sorted now.

I still need to chase this up, but after getting disconnected on the first attempt I can't be bothered trying again until they cancel A Doll's House and The Pillowman. They're clearly not going to happen so hopefully the National announcing they're closed until September will spur them on. Wish they'd hurry up as they owe me about £300.

Mine came through today as well minus the fees. Also the refund for Back to the Future. Next up is LW theatres as I am sure both of their shows are going to be cancelled or postponed. Let's see how they operate.

As I'm still waiting for my refund so youtube will have to keep me going
Sophie-Louise Dan is fabulous in this.
I'm not the biggest Mandy fan but I think this production is brilliant.

I agree. The Bernadette Peters/Mandy Patinkin is just so brilliant.
Every time I watch the DVD- and I mean every time- I see something that I hadn't previously.
Something as simple as when Mr & Mrs. step forward easting the pastries how the button on his waistcoat glistens or how one Celeste 1 changes position- at the end of Act 1 she standing to the left of stage fishing and there is a cardboard cut out of here next to Celeste 2 however at the beginning of Act 2 she is stilling where the cardboard cut out was previously positioned.
This makes sense because in the song 'It's Hot Up Here' the two Celeste's are bickering about one of them slouching.

Called ATG yesterday to get my refund for SITPWG, had payed by PayPal over 6 nonths ago, so they needed my card details. While we were at it asked for a refund for A Doll's House in June and got that done without discussion, showed up in my PayPal account minutes later. The nice ATG lady told me they were trying to reschedule the shows and asked me to keep an eye on the website and book again in the future. Very friendly. That's my last tickets from ATG sorted that I had this year.

Three weeks since I called them and no refund, or even an email confirming a refund is being processed. So I tweeted them and they asked me to DM them the details, which I have done.

After waiting weeks for a refund to be issued (and like everyone else, spending the best part of an hour trying to get an ATG box office assistant on the phone) - no sign of my money. I called again today (another eternity listening to their hold music) and was told that my refund had not been issued due to a problem with PayPal.
Was anyone from ATG going to notify me about that problem and ask for bank details I wonder, or was I just going to be left waiting indefinitely for a refund of a considerable amount of money that was never going to materialise?
Even though I understand the enormity of issuing refunds for all their shows, I still think having to chase my refund in this fashion is very poor customer relations indeed and very shortsighted given how hard it’s going to be to bring audiences back into their venues when/if it becomes a possibility to do so.

I have found email to be a much simpler way of engaging with ATG. I sent an email asking for a refund, they acknowledged it, sent a further email to say the refund was being processed, and then it was paid. I can't bear being on hold for ages with anyone so email is much easier.

Wish I'd done this in the first place! After my tweet on Thursday, they asked for my booking reference, last 4 digits of my card and surname, processed the refund that day, and it turned up in my credit card account this morning! All sorted by a nice lady called Cher (not sure if it's THE Cher, but I'd like to think it was)

Yes, both the person I dealt with on the phone, and Cher on twitter, were very helpful and friendly. Problem is I guess with their systems, looks like not everyone has the same access to resolve issues.

No spiel for me, I want a refund please - hold for 2 mins, then done. I'd rather be seeing the show 100%. Still no refund this week so called again. Got a great guy who works at the ATG theatre in Glasgow (he says). No refund was made, but has been now. Tsk!
