Here I was thinking I'll book this at some point and it appears to be completely sold out, whoops!

Here I was thinking I'll book this at some point and it appears to be completely sold out, whoops! As alece10 said they sold out pretty fast. Twickets regularly has resales for both performances but they seem to be as selling as quickly as they're posted. (If you're very keen on going that is!)

I listed two matinee tickets on Twickets last night if anyone is still looking for tickets. I’m gutted that I can’t go but I’m unwell. I hope everyone has an amazing time! I saw the original cast many years ago and they’re all great!

How did I miss this?
A jackanory.
In the original run my wife thought she'd book this for our daughters 12th birthday and we'd take 3 of her besties. We knew it was a hot new musical but had done no further research.
Front row tickets.
12 y.o. was much more more embarassed than her Dad when the cast addressed me personally as they sang "The internet is great for xxxx"
Saw it again a few years ago in Edinburgh and it stood up unbelievably well. Not sure if there were any revisions but felt like it could have been written this year.
Great show I wish I could be there.

I’m there tonight but for those doing matinee can you give us an accurate run time (I know DMT say 2 hours 15 on the email) and also if they are doing programs, merch etc… ?

Some of the cast posted a photo of some T-shirts which will be available on Instagram yesterday. Also there at the evening show and can’t wait. It was one of my favourites back in the day, and seeing this cast again is the icing on the cake.

Seeing it this evening. Am I right in thinking that with that running time it would pretty much be the full show?

Merch is a brochure for £10 and t-shirts like the one Simon posted online for £20. £25 if you buy both

Massive queue to get in! Right back up to Compton Street Just joined the end up at Brewer Street! Back of the queue is by a colourful shop called prowler which is getting a lot of new attention as people work out what it sells... Queues inside for toilets and merchandise almost as bad as to get in so definitely get here early for evening show and would get tshirts and programme early as they do seem to be popular. Size up to triple xl. To be fair the outside Queue did move fast about ten mins from prowler and most people don't have bags which helped security.

The puppets have not aged a day! Entrance applause for all the puppets. All works very well on the Les Mis set with its houses and multiple levels. Everyone is on form, even if some of the lines are a little random. It’s incredible really how well the everyone in this cast has done subsequently in their careers, and yet they can go back to performing Avenue Q without losing a beat.

Interval now and it's sooo good so far. Simon Lipkin is brilliant, some great ad-libs at the expense of Les Mis. They're using balconies the Les Mis set for some of the set.

Running time is pretty accurate, the matinée finished at 4.48pm Absolutely loved it, some sound and lighting issues but the cast took it in their stride and ad libbed through it. Made me very nostalgic.
