Why this needed the hype buildup they gave it I will never know. So they are not allowed to post ONE (1) picture to tease a new show they're announcing because they created expectations that were not met by an able bodied man? Correct me if speaking out of turn, but I really don't think that's what the OP meant by this. In today's viral and SM obsessed world it only takes one teasing post to send theatre communities into speculative meltdown. Then inevitably there are d***heads who react inappropriately when the news is not what they wanted/expected. Nowadays, sadly, you need to preempt/mitigate this.

All credit to bwe28025. Great scoop and thanks for sharing. A co-production with Barnsley Civic, which must be a first for London's glittering West End.

This production is for such a limited market and it’s not the one you tease this sort of announcement to on social media. These sort of “pre” announcements are designed to build hype and encourage speculation. This is not what this show is marketed at.

All credit to Nimax for hosting this production in their studio (I didn't realise there was one either!). They really are thinking outside the box in terms of their programming. I think it's great that this neglected audience is being catered for.
I said above that Bill Kenwright Ltd were possibly involved as they had liked the teaser posting on social media. Not so, it seems.
And the fact that this is in the studio keeps my dream alive that Till the Stars Come Down will be nicely ensconced in the main auditorium @sohoplace this winter!

I see no reason why announcements can't be made to "such a limited market" If it bugs you so much then you can stop looking at these pre announcements.

I didn't know Soho Place has a studio space. It not really a studio, more of a flexible rehearsal and events space.

For anyone else like me slightly disappointed this wasn't Soho Cinders ---- there's an amateur production at the Redbridge Drama Centre, Churchfields South Woodford London E18 2RB from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 November. I've booked.
