I thought ceebee’s ‘Fecal Cuboid’ was going in next? Or is that in the studio space?

I thought ceebee’s ‘Fecal Cuboid’ was going in next? Or is that in the studio space? How lovely!

On Broadway, this was HANDS DOWN the worst thing I’ve ever had to endure in a theatre.

No doubt another Paul Taylor Mills production where the backstage antics will be more interesting than the show itself.

Isn't something I'd see as I've never been that big of a Percy Jackson person but this announcement and the show itself finally in London will make a lot of people happy.

On Broadway, this was HANDS DOWN the worst thing I’ve ever had to endure in a theatre. Please elaborate. I can’t even put into words how amateurish this was. From the set, to the costumes, book, music and lyrics it was like if they took every thing I hate about some newer musicals like “Be More Chill” and made it even worse. My friend said he could tell I was visibly angry, having to sit through it lol

Is it by the ‘Be More Chill’ people, because that’s exactly how that made me feel?

Is it by the ‘Be More Chill’ people, because that’s exactly how that made me feel? The book was written by the same guy.

I had to Google Percy Jackson as I thought he was some 60s soul singer and this was a jukebox musical of his songs, how wrong was I!

I love the PJ films and wish they’d done more.

At West End Live they also hinted as to who is playing Percy. They said “everybody’s talking about something strange”.
Looking at the cast of Stranger Things: The First Shadow it looks like Max Harwood starred in Everybody’s Talking about Jamie (the film), so I guess it's him? Or maybe “Strange” refers to something else, dunno

Personally not a huge fan of Max as a performer but i’ll still give this show a fair chance!

Doesn't bode well for this one given the same producers' recent flops of Cake and Wish You Well. Not sure Lizzi Gee is the best choice to handle this title but PTM loves to use a choreographer to direct as to save money. Max Harwood in the title role is hardly exciting..... Feels like a hat-trick of flops coming.

Max also posted on his Instagram the other day about a ‘dream role’ he was so excited about that would be announced soon… looking very likely to be him.

Will this last until Press Night? With the prices the same as Cake and selling just as well!

This may be a daft question as I know nothing about Percy Jackson, but is this aimed at children or adults? I can see from Wikipedia that the lead character is a 12 year old boy with ADHD and dyslexia.
I'm sure I will attend as I like the venue and really hope they find a successful show, but right now I'll hold out for rush tickets or offers.

The books are primarily aimed at children, but a lot of the people who read them as children are adults now so I imagine they’ll be a decent amount of the audience. From the little I’ve seen of the show from clips, I think this could easily appeal to all ages.
