Couples choice for JB means he has a pass into next week.
Another Latin for Pete? Hes literally done 1 or 2 Ballroom and we are half way through now.

It is not a week I think is necessary
And none of the song choices feel exciting.
Just let Jojo do his Beyoncé and have some proper dancing from the rest

All very dull. I really wanted Tasha to do something fun and cool, but it seems like she's doing a shoes-off, awful lyrical dance.

Interesting to hear on It Takes Two that Wynne and Katya have said their rumba isn't about romantic love or lust at all, it's about self love.
Seems a bit of a cop out...

I'm sure, but it feels like an excuse. 'Our quickstep is actually very slow, as that's how I now see life thanks to my partner'

Vito "What is wedgie?" is my line of the evening!

I have no idea what joke Chris said, it fell absolutely flat and was really awkward.
Wynne, over marked. Sam, over marked. Chris, over marked. Sarah, over marked. JB over marked (couples choice is ALWAYS over marked).
Watching behind so not finished yet, but wanted to post my thoughts so far.

I’m watching on catch up as I prefer to fast forward the padding and nonsense and focus on the dancing. Absolutely loved Sarah and Vito. What a great dancer she is turning into. I really hope they reach the final.

Well Icons week lived down to my expectations
Tepid dances. Bad costumes. Excessive hype.
None of them deserved more than 34-35

Loved Hadders, loved the couples choice…the rest bored me.

Agree with quite a few other comments above. One thing I’m getting annoyed with this year is the female judges often talking over Craig, rather than letting him have his opinion then giving their comments. It’s just rude. The feedback for Pete last night was a bit of a joke - basically saying we know there were mistakes and the footwork wasn’t right so we won’t talk about that. They are supposed to be there as professionals in the industry to talk about it! Otherwise why not just have a fan panel?!

Craig can be quite blunt in his comments but I usually agree with what he says and his scores. He is the most honest of all the judges.

I think with Pete it was very obvious there were mistakes, so there’s no point all 4 judges saying the same thing when everyone saw it, so they gave other feedback instead. I wouldn’t want 4 people just saying you made a mistake, and I’d appreciate the feedback that I recovered and did great with the lifts.

I have no idea how Montell ended up in the dance off. She danced beautifully

I have no idea how Montell ended up in the dance off. She danced beautifully As has been said many times it's not always the quality of the dancing, it's sometimes how people come across and their attitude. I'd never heard of her until Strictly, her face was like thunder when she was announced in the dance off. She may seem over competitive , it's always a lottery sometimes who will be in the dance off.

I know that it isn't all about the dance.
I know that slower dances don't always resonate with viewers.
I know that the lighting and costume choices made the dancers harder to see.
Still feels unfair.
Hopefully she gets a rebound boost next week.

Montell didn't deserve to be in the dance off, but it was a more muted dance compared to others. Pete and Shayne were also going to get a lot of sympathy votes.
I really want Shirley to stop interrupting Craig.

Now confirmed that Amy is sadly unable to return to this series, due to a foot injury. Lauren will continue with JB.

I think Shayne could be in trouble again, a Rumba and a song that's been used a million times already.
Some of the songs don't seem to fit the dance, Lola's Theme and Fantasy, so they must be changing them a lot to fit.

They’re bringing back the samba dance-athon for this week, no idea why.
The sun are reporting that Karen, Nadia, Neil, Katya and gorka are being let go at the end of this series, and someone else reporting JoJo has decided to leave too.
