I've just seen on the Curve website that they have got a new Serena now - Sophie Camble. It seems like she's been doing it since the end of April at least.

OMG you guys, this was fantastic!
Lucie Jones was a revelation as Elle. Stunning vocals, great comic timing, and a very endearing performance - quite quirky and almost goofy at times. The best Elle I've seen.
Phoebe Street stole the show in the recent tour of Calamity Jane and I loved her as Vivienne here. Chills aplenty at her intro to Legally Blonde Remix - what a voice! I thought she played the character's manipulative ways a little more for laughs compared to previous takes on the role. The rapport between her and Lucie Jones certainly added to their sparring scenes.
Great work too from the multi-roling Rebecca Jayne-Davies and Jamal Andreas, while Jon Robyns made an utterly charming Emmett. Francesca Hoffman's energy and sass meant Margot was the standout of the Delta Nu girls.
The only disappointment for me came from Paulette. Natalie Casey was perfect for that role so there's no doubt that Tupele Dorgu had a tough act to follow. However, while Tupele has a surprisingly decent voice, she fails to invest her character with any heart or warmth. There's a complete absence of any subtlety from her performance too.
The set is fairly sparse and minimal but it's functional and Nick Winston's choreography, as always, does a great job in filling the stage.
Overall then, snaps for Curve, they did a great job with this. I wonder what the South Koreans will make of it!

Saw LEGALLY BLONDE at the Curve last night. Yes, it is not the best thing that I have ever seen, but I actually really enjoyed it. Great fun! The set was really ugly though! It looked like a giant pink spaceship! It was also rather sparse a lot of the time.

Saw this yesterday afternoon and you can't fail to leave the theatre on a high afterwards. Having seen the original production it hasn't lost anything and was interesting to see a different take on the set etc. The energy was great, especially from the front row. Hoping it finds its way back from Korea and out on tour!

Just looking at the cast list on the curve website. Noticed how they doubled up LOADS of roles, probably due to budget, but I think this is a great idea! Noticed someone who plays Harrison/District Attorney Riley. Who are these characters? Is the Attorney the prosecutor in the Court scene?

Guys I've just been listening to the song 'Love and War' which they included in the San Fransico previews. It's great! Really prefer it to Positive, which they replaced it with in the Broadway run

I love the "Yeah, I'm talking to myself so what" line in L&W and I think the tune is super catchy!

What a terrible song. Positive is so much better - with either lyrics.

Just a question, is this thread about Legally Blonde in general or the Curve version?

Just a question, is this thread about Legally Blonde in general or the Curve version? It was the Curve version, but now that it is over, may as well make this the General one hahaha, just saves someone making a new one!

I think that this is due a UK tour now, been a couple of years. I could think of a rather good cast do it too! I'd like to see the Jerry Mitchell show tour though rather than the new Curve version.

If there is anybody at all who knows, can somebody please advise me on who the producer for this show is? I know it was ATG before but who is most likely to take it out on tour now. Thanks

Thanks Depends which production. Curve have a commercial producer they usually work with but they might have given up the rights to it now?

Does anybody know if a UK tour of this is going to happen? I think it needs to happen!!
It looks as if the Curve production has been left alone now and that it won't tour but maybe the original Jerry Mitchell one might? That was my favourite version!
I heard UK productions might tour it but i dont know if that's a full on tour or just an am-dram version

A friend of mine in Oxford recently had an application for a Uni production in January 2017 turned down because of a professional production, which suggests they were planning a tour, but maybe it fell through?

Oh that's very interesting. I really hope it is true!!! I'd love to see the show do a tour but I hope it's the ATG version over the curve version. There's quite a few people I'd like to see as Paulette.

There is also the issue that Lucy Jones will be doing the RENT tour, so if the Curve production were to tour they would need to re-cast it.

I'd love to see Carley Stenson do that role again but she may be too old now. I saw on Josef Weinsberg that a tour is planned but that might've just meant the recent Curve show. I presume nothing had been rumoured then?

Not sure how you upload tweets but I just saw that Michael Harrison has tweeted saying him and Nikolai Foster are collaborating on a show soon. Could this be the legally blonde tour? Just a wild suggestion!
