I've been waiting for someone to start a thread like this! Honestly, 'woe is me, my life is so terrible'.
The girl needs to buck up and get on with it. I've never known someone make such a big deal out of nothing. Yes, you've got crazy fans. Kerry Ellis has crazy fans but you don't see her shouting off!
Can't tell you how much I've laughed reading these posts, especially the 'Carrie Box' (£16 for a BOOKMARK!?

Its a shame as her brother seems such a nice guy.
I follow him on social media and therefore dont have any choice but for her to appear in my newsfeed. He is always posting when he is supporting anything to do with her plus the (to me) cringe 'dear carrie' videos which have been going for years.
Without doubt he is a large reason she has such a large fanbase.

I adore Tom and I'm fond of his wife Giovanna as well-big McFly/McBusted fan! And I cam across Carrie in a bit of 'crossing the streams' moment of 'oh Tom's sister, oh she's in theatre' and I did genuinely like her for a while, and who knows maybe she's going through a bratty stage and will mature. Tom I think has sort of come out the other side of early fame as seemingly lovely genuine guy.

I feel I have to wade in here on Carrie's behalf. I've met her a couple of times, and she is a lovely girl. The first time, at Les Mis, I was waiting for someone else when she appeared - not to hoards of fans, just a mere two or three, plus it was after a matinee, between shows. The second time was after Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and again there weren't hoards of her so called manic fans, just half a dozen or so. She chatted to everyone for ages, including oldies like me.
I don't get involved with her social media stuff, and just take her as I see her. If you don't like her videos etc, don't watch them! In my opinion the fact that she tells fans she won't be doing the stage door between shows is great, they know not to waste their time waiting. I've waited many a time for someone to appear, and for various reasons they haven't. I'm fully aware that they don't have to come out, but it would be nice if someone could tell us straight away, so that we aren't left wasting half an hour of our lives (or more!) hanging around, and could go home!

To be fair to Carrie, from the sounds it on tour she usually stage doors unless is ill or has other commitments afterwards. When a lot of her fans are congregating it's not a quick "thanks for coming" and she is off on her way. She doesn't stage door after matinees. Many "stars" don't unless they need to leave the theatre. When I am at work sometimes I don't leave during a break too. I work with families and sometimes you end up being acosted outside and before you know it your break is over and you haven't done anything with it.

I was once waiting for a friend who worked on Les Mis and I stood on the corner at stage door as it's where we said we'd meet. The SD was mobbed by Hopefuls/Carriettes/Fletcherites or whatever they're called. As I was minding my own business, staring into space, I heard a voice say "do you want an autograph". I looked and saw CHF. Now I am in my early 50s, so not her demographic, I wasn't stood near SD and I didn't have a program or camera in my hand. I just looked surprised and said, "er no thanks". Felt a quite bizarre moment
