Out of interest, do they update the "Obsidian Times" photos? What's the Obsidian Times? Might it have helped me make sense of what little plot there was??

Thank you @theatremonkey. It definitely looks like it would have been helpful. I wonder why they stopped giving it out?

Saw this on Tuesday night after seeing it last year at the Coliseum. What a cast and what a show. Very well staged and so well sung. The story such as it is ,is weak but with vocals and staging like that who cares!

Any opinions about YY39? I'm not spending more than 15 pounds on this.
It's marked as green on the TM site so I don't think I should worry.

You could get a day seat for £25 and potentially be inches from the stage. You will be fully immersed that way, rather than totally detatched in your judgement bubble! 😂🦇🔥

If someone wants to see the new Strat or generally the show up close, I got a ticket for Seat A19 for sale. Doesn't get closer. I paid £50 back then, but at this stage I'm willing to let go of it for less. There's no way I'm sitting through Jordan's performance twice in two days.

Not. (Unless its the weekend when they just don’t do them).Todaytix do £25 seats every day which will definitely be better than your current seat. The front block of the circle feels close in the Dominion so don’t be put off by the back of that (which it throws up a fair bit).

Hmmmm... Okay then, I'll day seat for this.
Usually I don't do this, I like to have everything planned and booked in advance. But (please don't kill me) atm I don't really care about this show lol, I just need a new show to see on the Wed matinee and this is the cheapest one apparently.
If I end up loving this I'll happily eat my words and admit it here.

Several shows and a singalong later, it’s my go to show as it just leaves me on a high every time! I’ve got quite a few booked too...

There are aspects of it that are diabolically bad, but the cast, their voices and the set more than make up for it’s shortcomings. However, if you’re miles away you are a lot less likely to get caught up in it’s brilliance. We dayseated on a Weds matinee in May, got there about half eleven and got row C. Listen to a bit of Steinman before you go just to make those melodies familiar. Go in cold and your response is more likely to be wtf!

Veering slightly off topic, but I realised that I may have had the soundtrack on too much in the car recently. Youngest Dream started Reception this week and parents were invited in for the first part of the day.
The teacher had the children in a circle and asked who would like to pick a song for everyone to sing together. Youngest got chosen and said: “I’d really like battada hell, but I don’t think the other children will know it, so I’ll have Baa Baa Blacksheep instead!”

Download the app, and then unlock the rush tickets option underBOOH. You can then get tickets on the day from 10am.

...but the day seats do tend to be better because they’ll happily sell off the premium seats so that the cast aren’t looking at an empty space, plus if it’s out of school holidays there will be no competition. Go on...take a risk. There’s always tkts if that fails. 😂
