If this is to go to the Dominion, it has to be announced soon surely, cosidering American in Paris leaves early January? I am either expecting late January opening, or a filler before it comes in during the Summer? Either way i'm sure Baz will have news soon enough!

It would probably be a Spring opening say March or April? Tickets would already be on sale if was a late January opening |

True true, its too late to book for early 2018. I suspect we may get a filler of a touring show or something eady to just throw in before this heads in.

I feel really old. I bought my first CD player when a few of the cast recordings I had on cassette got chewed up. It was new and exciting technology. Now all you guys don’t even have CD players as it’s *old* technology!
I still buy all my music on CD, then copy to iTunes via my computer. You can’t admire an mp3 collection in the same way as a CD collection!

I don’t have a CD player anymore Do you still have a DVD player, or computer with a CD / DVD drive? A disc will play in both of those. sadly nope, I’ve got a MacBook Air and a tv I stream things to. Seems oddly outdated not to release the downloads but I’m sure they will soon. At least I hope they do because I’ve just found a Download but I’d rather pay for it to support the production |

That's nice you think that way paplazaroo . Though I'm with steve10086 on the whole CD thing - I rarely if ever bought cast cassettes though, just vinyl, for that exact reason. Either way, the Bat cast album is outstanding, captures the show perfectly. Totally agree - a fantastic album, well worth the wait (thanks Amazon!)... I agree with the discussion about CD's - trying to get the tracks off CD isn't easy for me either as my only player is in the car. Guess I'll have to buy the download too when it comes out. To be picky, I've noticed a couple of vocals "slip" on the BOOH CD - surprised they weren't re-recorded or tuned. Seems odd when the recording was done a while ago and spent a good time being mastered. BOOH was a really pleasant surprise this year - always been a fan of Steinman's music, but didn't have high expectations for what turned out to be a unique and entertaining show! |
