I sort of don’t really know what to say. Act 1 has got to be one of the worst things I’ve seen on stage, and then Act 2 is so mental that it might be one of the best? I mean, can’t fault the cast, they are working 100% and they couldn’t do it at any less than that - especially Strat, it just wouldn’t work. From a technical point of view, this is the best show in ages - every single trick, gets bigger and bigger.
I have no idea what I’d give this in terms of stars - it’s just bonkers.

I also saw it again tonight. The cast are incredible and staging and effects out of this world. Great to see Rob Fowler in the UK finally after two decades of doing shows in Europe.
That said I still think it has the worst choreography I’ve ever seen on stage in my life! Yes it is a little bonkers meets We Will Rock You!

I also saw it again tonight. The cast are incredible and staging and effects out of this world. Great to see Rob Fowler in the UK finally after two decades of doing shows in Europe. That said I still think it has the worst choreography I’ve ever seen on stage in my life! Yes it is a little bonkers meets We Will Rock You! Another vote from me that it’s the worst choreography ever in a show - I felt sorry for them all for having to do it!

Just checked the Nederlander website, all of the side blocks from Row M through W have been reduced to £25 at Monday to Thursday performances for the next couple of weeks. Good value if you want to see the show but not pay full price.

In the experience of those that have dayseated Weds matinee, should I buy 3x row M stalls for £25 each or hold out for dayseats when I get into town? Bringing a couple of my offspring before ‘Heathers’ next week. 🦇🔥

Bringing a couple of my offspring before ‘Heathers’ next week. 🦇🔥 I personally would wait it out - I would be surprised if you weren’t able to get good seats in the front stalls EDIT - I went into the Dominion about 2pm yesterday to be told their dayseat policy had changed and that they now only selli side blocks as day seats. My friends were still given G11-12 which aren’t bad seats at all. However, it would have made absolutely no financial difference to have given them their preferred seats of C18-19 which have EXACTLY the same face value cost of £75. Had they gone later in the afternoon, I imagine the box office would have been more willing to release closer and more central seats.

Ticket prices for this seem to have been revised for the better. Just been looking at weekdays in July. Number of premium seats massively reduced and top price non premium down from £75 to £65. The cheaper seats at the back of the front section of the Circle have now increased however.

I think it's great news that at least ONE producer is reacting to the fact that they can't shift overpriced premium seats except for very few super-in-demand shows like Hamilton. The Bat producers especially must have noticed that regular priced seats were/are selling well, but not the premium seats. When I saw it, the stalls were pretty much full except for one gaping hole in the middle which I assume were the super-premium-seats they couldn't shift.
Rather offer decently priced seats all around and, if you can, use dynamic pricing to demand more if there are only a few good seats left, than scare people off straightaway with pricing. Let's hope this earns them the boost in ticket sales the show deserves anyway and that other producers will learn (although I'm aware it's more difficult in smaller houses when you can't earn money on sheer mass of seats per show alone).

Exactly right! Premium tickets have really not sold for this and every time I have been there has been a huge gaping hole in the middle of the stalls. Which also affects the atmosphere. Also, I know it's only a tenner, but psychologically I think a reduction of top price from £75 to £65 is appropriate for this show - it also makes it among the cheapest West End top price as opposed to the most expensive (majority of shows have their top non premium price within the range £65-£75!). I have celebrated by buying another ticket lol.

Although I benefitted a couple of times from the cheap row G Circle tickets, it was odd that two rows ahead was 40 quid more expensive for essentially the same view....

Central row c...not too shabby😀 x *and it gets better every single time. For a cast to give that much to a half full Weds matinee is lovely to see. Being so close helped as the energy (and dry ice) pours off the stage, but after 14 months on and off for them to look so fresh is great.

I also don't think the switching between songs and shortening existing ones does anyone any favours as you can tell a few people got a little confused by what they were meant to be singing and when.

Sound is as bad as when WWRY was in there - possibly the same system lives on.
I thought this had half a dozen top class performances in it from the leads.
The audience loved it - though I don't think I have seen such a large number of large people at a show before.
The problem is the plot could be written on a postage stamp, and the songs are long and barely relate to what there is of a story. A splendid culminating I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, was somewhat undermined by the story setting up no that.
If the sound system didn't lose too much of the vocals, it would be worth the exorbitant pricing for the singing. The pricing tho may be responsible for the big holes in the audience in rows J to M - but if they can sell the seats around the holes at a big enough price, they may not care.
