Not sure productions after Passing Strange have any cast yet.

The answer seems quite obvious, but does anyone knows if the Young Vic will be closed for two months over the summer? "Passing strange" closes on July 6th and "A face in the crowd" opens on September 10th. I don't remember the theatre being closed with nothing in its main stage for two months but maybe I am wrong. My guess (and it's only that) is that they thought Passing Strange would sell better than it has and would extend, at least by a few weeks. And I also guess it's easier to allow full time staff to have their holidays all at once and/or do annual maintenance on technical equipment etc. Again, all speculation!

Not sure productions after Passing Strange have any cast yet. Well Ramin Karimloo and Anoushka Lucas have been cast in A Face in the Crowd.

It's not unusual for a theatre to take a long break during the summer. Hampstead Theatre has a month gap from the end of July to the beginning of September.
