Closed last night…gone but not forgotten. One of the highlights of this year. Great memories of a great show 100% agree. This show will stay with me for a long time. Hope to see it again one day. ❤️ |

I was there the last night my 5 th time and listening to the ep on repeat for weeks now …. It really captured my heart ❤️ the songs really are good can’t stop singing them .
I hear peoples views and yes their are flaws in the book mainly and I did wish for a bit more of a heart tug at times it’s changed such a lot since Atlanta and even from the first preview at the Rep to the last show
I do wish musicals wouldn’t do the get everyone up dancing and singing before the bows though I really wanted to give each performer the applause they all richly deserved. I hate the clap along finales as an audience member I feel cheated ,
But saying all that I’ve enjoyed every performance I’ve seen . the best and most fulfilling night in the theatre for a long time powerhouse performances all round
This has to transfer or tour it really is my favourite new musical since Jamie & WN pussycat , I know so many people who went and felt the same many of them visiting 2-3 times
