Primary Trust just won the Pulitzer Prize. Hopefully it will still come over at some point. The Pulitzer Prize is a great marketing gimmick - why don't we have something similar ? There have been lots of real duds amongst the plays that have won it (and in the other categories too).

The second and third rows of the balcony at sides have seen pretty big price increases over the last few years. The outside ends of rows B and C are full price, normal tickets. Only start to be cheaper (£25/£30) at four seats along in. I suppose it is better that they are not restricted to only being available for specific age groups but sheesh, a season is expensive here.

Just paid a big chunk of money to the Donmar for 3/4 of this season!
Looks like quite a few seats are held back for general sale, which does seem to negate the point of a membership somewhat.

The greed of this venue increasing ticket prices
Unbelievable
It’s become less accessible than the NT and the Almeida
Such a shame

I managed to get tickets for the two things I wanted - spent a bit more than I wanted to 😫 I hope I won’t regret it!

Looks like there are still plenty for all of those across the run. Though the cheaper ones are all gone mostly - but I don’t know if tickets are being kept for the general public (I hope so for people)

Yes we are aware Taking if out on your customers isn’t the only option Hampstead also lost funding And have focused less on punishing the patrons through pricing In fact they have diversified the pricing options It’s not always a simple equation of let’s screw those who support us for more money

And have focused less on punishing the patrons through pricing In fact they have diversified the pricing options I'm not sure that is accurate. Downstairs prices have seen significant increases.

Downstairs previews are £10 and used to be £5 Main house has options in the front row for £35 Let me know what the Donmar offers on par with this

Yeah let's not forget the old Barclaycard front row days when you could conceivably see a show in the stalls for £10 at the Donmar. That was a commercial sponsorship that I'm sure, if they wanted, they could have found a new sponsor for. And it went way before the loss of ACE funding. And the circle seats which they replaced the £10 front row seats with have been increasing since before the loss of funding so now they're £25-30.
The across the board price increases are to be expected, but in some places the number and scale of the rises has been so steep.

Can anyone who has early booking access please give an indication of what the availability is like currently for the three plays in the new season, and in particular, Backstroke on the evening of Thursday 3rd April. Thanks!

Well this is a useless booking system. Got my tickets and then dumped me straight back into a queue updating every 5 minutes

I don't mind being in a numbered queue, however long it is, but this system is awful because you've no idea where you are or if it is ever going to let you book!

I got in pretty quickly and grabbed tickets for 3 shows,no problems with being dumped out. BUT for the dates I was looking at,not great tickets - all ended up being Row C circle varying in price from £30 to £50. Tickets seem to be going fast, particularly for downstairs.

For Under 35s, make sure you log into your account to find the £20 tickets. I managed to get stalls pairs for three of the shows, all on Saturday nights, with no problem

Managed to get in and got a Backstroke ticket after about a 20 min wait. Got the end of row C on the side In the circle which I'm sure used to be £10 and was now £45. There's not much left for the first 6 weeks that I skimmed through.

I couldn’t see any under 35s tickets (and yes, I was logged in) so assumed they had all been taken and booked full price tickets for two shows. Just checked back now and there are plenty of under 35s tickets showing up! Very annoying.

No, limited availability for Backstroke on the dates I wanted, so going to leave it for now. Does the Donmar put everything on sale upfront or is it likely more seats will get released later on?
