Apologies for the double post but I think I should add something extra about my last post.

If they were to just release one song from the cast album I still think that they would announce it on their Social Media. I also think it’s a bit strange just releasing one song from the album and then just releasing the rest of the album a week later.

I’m hoping we’ll be hearing something about the cast album this week since the show is closing on Saturday. We’ll be lucky if we’ll get it this week but I doubt we will because they’ve been taking their time with it.

You know at first I thought it was just with Lesley Joseph in it, because I love her, that I was going to love it but I definitely changed my mind the first time I seen it.

I know that I’m coming from a different perspective because it was the first time I saw the show I’ve seen. I do enjoy some of the videos I watched of the original production of the show and I do see where people are coming from with not liking some of the changes they made like How I Got A Calling being changed to It’s Good To Be A Nun. I do like the song but I agree with it giving no context to Mary Robert.

Also I do wish that Mary Patrick and Mary Lazarus weren’t really forgotten about in the new version of the show because I feel like that they had a little bit more of a role in the original London production but I could be wrong.

Lovely touch on socials of Beverley and Ruth in the Pop Mobile on the closing night.

I thought it was lovely as well. It’s sad now that it was the last performance last night but I’m really looking forward to the cast recording now.

Me too - I wonder why it is delayed?

I wonder if they are letting the hype around Sunset & Starlight's albums die down?

Yeah I think it’s weird that they haven’t released the album yet. I know that production after that takes a while but then again the album was recorded in May so they would’ve had plenty of time between then and the end of the show.

I know it’ll be worth the wait but I’m hoping they’ll announce something this week.

Yeah this is getting ridiculous now!! It’s been six months since they’ve recorded it and they still haven’t bother announcing a release date. People have been asking on their Social Media and still nothing!!!

Jamie Wilson said that they would be releasing it in the summer and we’re nearly at Christmas. Maybe there’s been a delay or something but at least tell us on their platforms.

But the tour has already finished. Unless you’re referring to the tours happening in Australia and Europe I really think it’ll be better if they release it now.

I was thinking maybe that what it could be but I really don’t know. I do feel they would announce something in September about it but I’m just hoping they release it soon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the show was still touring. There were a few venues they missed out on but I think they basically toured the whole UK and Ireland. It even returned to quite a lot of previous venues so I think that’s quite unusual for a tour.

To be honest if they had been contractual or rights issues preventing the release they probably would have put something up on their social media. I do think it’s strange that nothing’s been released but they definitely won’t abandon it without some notice. I’m still really looking forward to it and glad to have an official album with the current song list.
