CHF will be on her solo tour won’t she?
That’s not to say we won’t see it at some point in the future of course.

I wasn’t going to see this anyway, but my tuppence worth is I can see why they’ve cast them. It doesn’t make for a new experience for us fans, but it will confirm bums on seats. Not bothered either way about the “main casting”.
Surprised though that Donnelly and Jaden are doing it. Having seen most casts (and understudies) since around 1998 in British productions, plus dozens of international ones from Broadway and Europe, I’m very let down by that.
As I say, I had no plans to see it anyway. Really the show sells the tickets anyway.

The Montague- Fletchers as the Thenardiers?? I do believe Carrie has said she’d love to play Madame t some day but she’s too young for it surely? Hard no to this. Joel could maybe pull it off, but Carrie, bless her heart is not a natural comedienne. If you’ve heard her attempts at mockney cock-er-ney she sounds like the love child of Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury.

I’d probably go as far as to say he’s the best Valjean I’ve seen since John Owen-Jones when he launched the (then) new 25th anniversary version. In a world where many of them are so similar (absolutely excellent, but similar) he really brought something different to the role. And what a voice!

I'll not get the chance to see the show in London before 9th of March, and a trip to Sweden next January wasn't in my plans, so I'll probably not get to see him. But I'm glad to hear how good he is in the role.

Hey all
Are there any more whispers about cast for this other than B&B/Killian & Bradley?

Do we know if this is ever coming to London or anywhere south? There was talk of it coming to London in 2025 to coinside with the 45th Anniversary.

Surely the 45th anniversary would be at the Palais des Sports! London in September/October 2025 will be the 40th Anniversary of the English version.

I might have to make a trip to see this. Bonnie will be hilarious and Jac will make a great Marius. That pair are big pals these days as well.

Oh I'd pay for a concert if Jeremy Secomb went on as Javert instead of Ball or Jaden

Oh I'd pay for a concert if Jeremy Secomb went on as Javert instead of Ball or Jaden I'm not in the know but to me it was pretty obvious casting an experienced former Javert in the Bishop track that's usually allocated to a Javert cover anyway, for London at least. Also +1 would pay for a Jeremy Javert show! And who's cover Valjean?

Cameron definitely promised the old friends cast this gig as gift or something since they all got on so well or something 🤣 no way it’s a coincidence. But I’m obsessed !!!

A few thoughts and suggestions for anyone from south of Birmingham looking to see the "arena spectacular" in Sheffield as a day trip, as it now looks probable that any London dates won't be until at least 2025.
Advance tickets for rail travel to Sheffield on the performance dates should go on sale in a couple of weeks time. Tickets (non-railcard) usually start at around £25 St Pancras to Sheffield, slightly more from Birmingham. The cheapest tier may sell out quickly especially on trains that are suitable for the matinees, eg 9 am - 11am to Sheffield and 6.30pm -8.30pm back to London. Prices will then steadily increase: on the day a return is around £80 - which isn't too much dearer though with the risk of not getting a seat. I do use Trainline and Split Ticketing websites for info but never book with them. The Arena is on the tram route From Sheffield to Meadowhall (where there is also a train station) and has its own stop
I've booked National Express London Victoria to Sheffield Meadowhall return for the Saturday matinee. Depart 8.30am , arrive Meadowhall 12.45pm, return depart 6.20pm arrive Victoria 10.05pm. I have a coachcard which saves a third but the full prices at present are only £8.90 out and £10.30 back so under £20 return. I don't recommend booking to Sheffield on the coach, Meadowhall is closer and easier with a huge shopping centre adjacent. National Express coaches also call at Milton Keynes Coachway just off the M1.
Flixbus is slightly cheaper but doesn't work so well for the return leg, Megabus not yet on sale for the show dates.

To add to Paul’s advice, the tram line is integrated into Sheffield railway station so you could get off the train and onto the tram to the arena within a few steps.
