Nice additions. I know its not popular to like Mr Ball but he always gives great value for money and I love his voice. The evening performance now only has the most expensive seats left. Still some cheaper ones for the matinee.

Good one noticing it no longer says more to be announced, that totally passed me by! Was about to ask if we expect any more. Can't wait for this. My e mail says 'surprise guest appearances" so I read that to be there are more to come. They will probably be introducing the performers rather than performing themselves.

I'm more than happy with who we have but if there's more to come, even if just presenters, I'm very excited again!

Copied from WOS and edited slightly to match the show’s own website… Are there more names to come? Assuming a “featured ensemble” will be more than 3 people.

Copied and edited slightly… Thanks for the update. I knew about Maria Friedman but not that AJ Casey was now in it. She is brilliant in everything she does. Shame about Ashley Park though. I was looking forward to seeing her as I really enjoyed Emily in Paris. This is the problem with these gala concerts and people pulling out at the last minute. I can understand if its due to illness but when it's something like "scheduling conflicts" or similar I often think it's because they got a better offer which is unfair on the paying public.

I think the strike in America has caused lots of issues for actors, so (if it was Emily in Paris) she likely understood she'd be able to get back to London in time but filming schedules have changed and she's more tied into that than she was to this.

I understand that but if you are not 100% sure you can do something (illness aside) then don't commit to it. It's not fair on people paying good money. I'm not singling her out but I find it happens a lot with these gala concerts. Maybe I'm from an era when if you said you were going to do something you do it even if something better comes up afterwards.
Anyway I'm not too upset as there are others I want to see more in the show. So Aaron Tveit if you are reading this, you better have your flight booked. 😀

So Aaron Tveit if you are reading this, you better have your flight booked. Just saw Aaron is going into Sweeney Todd from February on Broadway.

Glad to hear this will live on. Wish I hadn’t booked the front row now though.

Glad to hear this will live on. Wish I hadn’t booked the front row now though. Why's that ? I usually book centre section of front row but it was either sold out or out of my budget for the matinee so I'm in a £110 seat in row S. If you've also booked matinee ... swap ? Can't do the evening performance.

Don't ticket holders usually get told in advance if they are filming? I've got tickets for Alan Cumming next month and there was a big warning on the booking site and I'm pretty sure i knew in advance of Sondheim Gala that they were filming. Nothing worse than paying a lot of money and then having a camera blocking your view

And I know that’s ridiculous because any shots of the audience will be about 2 seconds long.

As brief as the shot of the audience might be, I still don't fancy possibly being in it. I mean I know they won't be going for Britain's Got Talent styled zoomed in audience reactions but I don't want to be enjoying watching a concert back and then there's my resting bitch face Might seem silly to most but if I'm at a recording I'm very aware of the recording and find it harder to focus on the actual show.

They will have signs up at the theatre saying it’s being filmed- and if you object so much- get a refund and leave

Is this not sold out yet? Keep seeing adverts for it. It should have sold out with that cast.

Tickets are available for a showing on Feb 14th at Bromyard Conquest Theatre from Ticket Source although not showing on the theatre’s own site yet so there should be some more venues released soon.
