Orchard theatre closure now extended until 31/10 at least.

Core Theatre, Solihull, closed until the end of November. I know several people who have been rehearsing amateur shows that have been cancelled

THe Core Theatre always does a good panto so they will really need that to be able to run for financial reasons.

St David's Hall in Cardiff, originally closed in August for four weeks, then until the New Year, will now be closed until 2025 given that some of the ceiling has been categorised as Red-Critical and is at risk of sudden collapse. They hope to get it open again for the next BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition in July 2025. The deal between the Council and the Academy Group for the latter to take over management of the venue is now under renegotiation...
