With the exception of My Fair, I don’t really know their shows despite the songs Ive heard sounding rather good.
Camelot now has a new book and Brigadoon is getting staged with a newish book in Canada – are their shows that troublesome that rewrites are required? Even with rewrites are they still second filddle to Rogers & Hammerstein?
Thank heavens for little rewrites!

Back on the main topic...
R&H shows get tweaked and altered all the time. A good number of them don't get revived
So L&L are not the only ones that get subject to revisions.
Camelot has always had a clunky book.
Brigadoon doesn't need much other than a bit of dialogue tidying.
Gigi hasn't been revived for a while but it is probably too problematic in terms of content to get to the stage again in a major revival. Though it does contain some nice tunes.
