I really enjoyed this when the US tour came through Amsterdam. I thought the circus elements added a lot and the show was very well directed in general. The level of acrobatics could be higher, but it was the final stop of the tour and I'm pretty sure the Broadway production had more of that anyway.
Cynthia Erivo recently said she'd like to do this show. She would make a great Leading Player!

I assume youre refering to barnum, and no,sold very well in Chichester. It was its future life that was an issue. But Chichester alone did well. It had sold well even before opening, its unique venue helped The fact it had a tour suggests it wasn't a failure at Chichester but clearly as evident in the documentary it featured in that there were creative issues. It'll be interesting if Half a Sixpence has a future life.

She and Patina seem good friends, going by Twitter, probably due to the Sister Act connection, so she could get tips from her.
