I've no idea what this is as I'm probably not the right age demographic. For those who know will it sell 2000 seats a night for 12 weeks?

I've no idea what this is as I'm probably not the right age demographic. For those who know will it sell 2000 seats a night for 12 weeks? It's based on the most popular movie from Japan's most beloved animator, the same filmmaker who made the less popular (based on grosses) "My Neighbour Totoro." It won the best animation Oscar, and even I saw it in the cinema, so it crossed over good and proper lol. If I wanted a matinee (I don't), I'd book early, as parents are bound to book the matinees heavily for their kids. I think there will be availability in the evenings, as it's a massive house, but I'm only guessing.

For some reason, it's not quoting. Thank you TallPaul for the link!
For those that haven't seen the film, it's currently on Netflix. Regarded as one of the best animated films ever made, give it a try!

I'm in the 6000s. What is up with events in general deciding 10am is the opportune time to open bookings.

So... the link that was emailed got was unique and would only let you into the queue once. However... if you joined the queue early it would let you through to the landing page at which point you could manually join a new and unique queue for that on as many devices as you like.
So multiple numbers in the 20,000... and number 34.
Through and booked by 10.09 at a price and seat I'm happy with.
Prices start at £24.75 and top out at £184. Preview prices seem only around £5 less. There are A LOT of seats available, only press night (07 May from the looks of it) showing low tickets.

Lots of people tweeting about the fact that anyone could join the queue prior to 10am. But that's the point of a wait room right? Wish there was a performance sch and ticket prices previously. Hate not knowing! EDIT : thanks dave B!!!!!!

I think it was their confusing wording in the mail that the booking link would not work before 10am. I stumbled about that too and clicked early almost accidentally, then came to the waiting room.

Can't say I'm surprised by the pricing on this one, considering the venue, but I'm afraid I can't justify the sorts of prices they're charging for a halfway decent seat. Going to give it a miss for now, and see how it is selling in a week or two and reconsider then.

Well that was fairly easy. Yes, the most painless of any presales I’ve done recently!

Took ages to get through to book but got seats. Agree about prices. Gone for Upper circle which is still £77 each but hopefully view not too bad.

Fairly painless once through, only weekends seem to have low availability unsurprisingly.
