Her agent is really working overtime. She’s in danger of over exposure I fear. I guess she is popular so is cashing in, she's been in the business over 25 years so isn't an overnight sensation and has worked hard to get where she is. If she has the option of theatre, films, TV with both acting and singing then factor in concerts/presenting and commercials then she has a lot of different markets to aim at. Those of us who know her best for her theatre work may not be GoT or Ted Lasso fans and I don't think that many fans of her recent TV work would have known she was a West End leading lady for many years prior to this.

Everyone, in their own way, get their day in the sun.
Clearly, this is herd. And Kudos to her for grabbing the opportunity.
If it were me, I'd be doing the television and film work, for international exposure and more opportunities. Keep the theatre work up the sleeve for now.

I fully agree she always has the musicals and concerts to fall back on plus she hasn't done a stage role in around a decade and now being a wider known name her West End return would be a bit of a buzz.

Saw this on Twitter last night. I saw it last night too - Twitter this morning / all day has been raging with it! I'm hoping the charity gets big bucks on the back of this. I probably watched this a couple of dozen times and it's still making me smile.

Has anybody watched Home For Christmas yet? I adored every second. My only complaint is it's far, far too short. Not even forty five minutes!

It said 44 minutes, which really means forty minutes with the end credit stuff. I thought the main advantage of a streaming service is there's no need to ahere to strict running times! I adored it anyway but would an hour to ninety minutes really have been too much to ask?

I have not seen this so cannot comment on it but by reading all of your reactions regarding the length of the show, a thought occurred. Maybe this was just a teaser.
Let me explain.
Maybe, they're using this as a teaser to gauge the success, demand and popularity and if it's ell received, they may do another, longer version next year and her public profile increases?

I've promised myself I won't watch until I chuck my tree up next Sunday - then I will indulge with fairy lights and chilled fizz. The clips I've seen look so much fun (I'm a huge Ted Lasso fan) and I can't wait.

I watched it over the weekend (I have what might be a flu-y cold, or might be Covid, though I'm testing negative, so I haven't moved far from the sofa for the last few days). It's absolutely charming, it's beautifully produced and staged, the guests and the band are wonderful, and of course Ms. Waddingham herself is fabulous... and I think it's exactly the right length. It's very easy for these things to outstay their welcome, and it was the correct choice (and I think Ms. Waddingham said in an interview somewhere that it was her choice) to put together a relatively short programme that is over before the law of diminishing returns sets in.

She hosted the q&a with Tom Hanks to launch his new book at the Prince Edward tonight: it was a fun night (although I’m not sure if the FAO Schwartz piano from Big still exists in Manhattan? she said she is planning on visiting with her daughter) but oy vey, the amount of people waiting by the stage door upon my exit 😝

This woman's rise is on the up-and-up.
Ms Waddingham was on The One Show last night promoting her latest action film, The Fall Guy, based upon the 80's TV show about a stunt man, staring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
They also discussed her comments to a photographer outside the Royal Albert Hall, pre-Oliviers, her opening number Anything Goes and the song choice.
Seems she may have a solo CD coming out as well.
Good on her. May her success continue.

Good that she called out the pervy pap.
Surely she could do a concert hall/good sized regional theatre tour if she has a CD out.

What I also love about this woman is whilst Ms Waddingham's success may appear to be overnight, she is a theatre stalwart with previous roles on TV in Benidorm and she seems to be taking all of this in her stride and not letting it go to her head.
And she's not forgetting where she's come from in terms of her stage work and theatre background.
The other great thing is that her success holds a torch for other performers in the industry who can continue to strive in order to achieve both similar recognition and success.

Hannah had been a very successful MT performer and then got the nice cameo role in Game of Thrones. Ted Lasso was her breakout TV role, I'm not sure where she came the go to award host from. She is a natural fit for theatre award shows and I guess being able to speak a few languages helped get the Eurovision gig,
Has she had a drag character named after her yet I wonder, that would be the ultimate seal of approval.

Hannah's next big film is The Fall Guy although she's only supporting.
