Do we think they've closed the Upper Circle and moved people downstairs? There was quite a change to block availability over the weekend. I had hopes of a cheap ticket to see Rachel Tucker today but there was no Rush at 10am, just a lottery, and when I stopped looking at 5pm no price reductions on the official website either. There were lots of really great £50 tickets on TKTS

There were lots of really great £50 tickets on TKTS Yes, and as someone else said they would, the unsold row B dress circle seats were reduced from £70 in the morning to £50 by teatime yesterday. Those seats are £200+ at some performances. Not sure if these same reductions’ll be seen for Nicole performances but definitely worth keeping an eye out!

There's never been a 10am rush Thanks for confirming that. I only book a rush ticket very occasionally and hadn't realised Sunset Boulevard wasn't included as I think some previous shows at the Savoy have been. Will try TKTS next Monday.

Hello, hoping for some advice. Coming to London in early November and hoping very much to see Sunset, but at the best price as the exchange (Canadian to GBP) almost ads 50% to the ticket price. I have the Today Tix app and will try the lottery route. Am wondering with TKTS if for reduced prices it's just a check in on the day you hope to go or if they start to drop in advance? Or any advice, really, about strategies. Thanks for your consideration. Hope this is the right place to ask. I saw the original mothership back when dinosaurs roamed the earth so am very curious to see what they've done here.

Some days there have been no on the day tickets available and some there are. Tickets direct on ATG may start to reduce slightly the day before.

I had an affordable ticket in mind and waited until the Thursday when my Sat mat ticket reduced by another £20. Nothing better appeared after that so that’s the rough timescale for weekends. Think they do it more on the day in the week. (On atg tickets. It didn’t hit tkts at all).

For anybody who is interested there is some very favourable dynamic pricing for tonight on ATG and a few TKTS bargains also, despite relatively low availability.

Has anyone had any luck getting tickets on the day from the box office? I hadn’t realised that the lottery was only open Mondays - Wednesdays, and we’re heading up to London on Saturday and would love to see this. If available you should be fine. Alternatively try TKTS online from midnight or 9.00am. Also look at ATG+ if you are a member as I recently bought two "member special" tickets for December at 1/3 reduction. They appeared when I refreshed my screen, so log in, find your date then refresh. It might trigger great seats at a great price.

Just booked stalls centre of row E through TKTS for £70.50 to see Rachel Tucker tonight, it was one of four that went on sale at midnight.
Definitely a good deal as the ATG / Savoy price is £175 and See Tickets - who actually supplied the ticket - are charging £294 on their website.
The three adjacent to mine are still available as I type this at 1am, plus six in stalls row L for £50.50.

What is the best way to get a good seat at a good price? On the day, in advance? Anyone have a tricks? I would love to see this! There’s some posts further up this thread reporting having found reduced priced seats (good stalls or dress circle) on TKTS in the past week or two. Check at midnight for next (that!) day and throughout the day.

What is the best way to get a good seat at a good price? On the day, in advance? Anyone have a tricks? I would love to see this! Been keeping an eye on the tickets in case it did seem to get the ticket rush and needed to grab a ticket but happy now to review the lowering of seat prices atg are doing as the performance comes closer, and they are amending prices further ahead now As saw the mid November shows i am looking to go to have started to change down. Tkts has been having great seats avaliable for all Mon to Thurs shows but now seem to be 80.50 and 50.50 instead of 70.50/50.50. But these are often seats which were were 245/195/125 at full price. tkts also seem to have tickets avaliable until mid afternoon. The Friday and Saturday shows seem to be selling out on their own And less likely to get reductions. It does seem to sell out most nights before showtime. They are being fairly quiet about any reductions but seem keen to sell out each show presumably to help any possible broadway transfer use the tag line of a sellout westend show . I expect the final weeks will get more of a buzz and will sell out without any reductions but at present considering the raves it's got its surprisingly easy to get great tickets on the day and often at massive reductions.

I never said it was 'deep', but it is a a deliberate sales tactic to make something appear better value. If it wasnt theyd have just left them as originally coloured.
Tkts have some great £245 seats reduced to £70 today

Gregor Milne is making his debut as Joe this evening - will be really interested to hear reports from anyone there. I think this is the first principal understudy on so far? I’ve also given in and booked for the last night - really looking forward to it! booked a last-minute ticket this afternoon, H21 £50 from tkts so I will report back! I loved the original production of SB- must have seen it at least five times… so super excited.

Has anyone tried getting last minute tickets? Would love to go tonight as I live down the road but there’s only 1 left for £125 🫣 would want to pay under 100. I think because Nicole cancelled Friday/Saturday lots of people would’ve moved their tickets around this week. TKTS is always good but you need to get them early in the day.

From the very first second tickets were on sale for Sunset, it has been announced that Nicole would not be doing Mondays. Literally in the press release that was picked up but outlets.
If someone books on a Monday and they think Nicole is on, that is just poor reading skills as its clearly stated on the ATG website too as well as the TKTS website and the Today Tix site. If someone bought tickets through one of the shady half price booths where this isn't stated, that is on the person.

Agency allocations are a thing of the past now (with a few exceptions) due to everyone being able to pick up anything on API (apart from the TKTS booth who will often be given “specials” to sell, and things like the rush allocation etc.) I assume whatever tickets are available on TodayTix currently will just be whatever is available on ATG with fees tacked on.

Except there's NOTHING available on ATG, and still 5 tickets for tomorrow's matinee on TodayTix... Just had a look myself and I reckon it’s probably TodayTix’s new ticket protection scheme where the customer can “cancel” their tickets up to 48 hours before the performance and still get a full refund to a credit voucher. TodayTix then attempt to resell these just via their website (as they effectively own the tickets now) and take the hit if they remain unsold. Considering the show is a complete sellout though, I’m surprised ATG haven’t just authorised a full refund so they could get these back to resell themselves.

Thanks Dan - indeed there is, I've have tried to book that ticket on TodayTix a couple of times over the past hour and keeps saying it isn't available! Bit of a shame.
I live not too far from the Strand so I'm tempted to go down but a friend told me they reckon availability at the Savoy box office and the TKTS booth mirrors what they have on their websites. They are quite the theatre goer so I wouldn't be surprised if they are on the money with that

There maybe someone there who has a spare ticket if one of their party can't go and probably be happy to sell it.

Yes this sunset may have attracted some new people to ALW show but it was also run for most of the season dynamically pricing seats down and until mid December was the "show of the year" which you could get the best seats less than half price for on the day of the show. Sorry, but that simply isn't true. It's quite clear from the posts on here that tickets were not that easy to come by, and those that were, were reduced on the day of and were rarely ever 'best seats'. Best Seats available maybe, but not 'best' You make it sound like there were swathes of tickets available and that clearly wasn't the case, when it was the odd ticket here and there. You are right - the seats available via TKTS were the same each day. Part of pricing strategy clearly. Although I saw it ten times, I'd guess my average ticket price was £80 - mainly stalls or front of dress circle and a couple of times in the grand circle (though these were prebooked).
