For a long time my top three was
Watermill
Wiltons
Open Air Theatre
Then last night I visited the Coronet and I'm now happily adding it to my list. Never visited Bouffes de nord but it looks similar from the pics
What are your top venues?

I think the Coronet is great, as well. Too many of the seats cut your legs off (towards the back) but what a performance area, and wonderful - curated - public areas.
I adore The Barbican theatre, everything about it; even the ingress and egress is lovely, especially upstairs. Beyond the theatre, I'm not sure how well the whole estate works though the Terrace is obviously spectacular.
Also, the Almeida for its unique supporting poles between Stalls and above, which mean seating in those areas have to be described as 'restricted' and are the bargain that keeps giving. It's kind of intimate also, somehow.
I probably love the Coliseum and Sadler's Wells equally, though I can't decide on one of those or something else atm .. I do love slightly awkward pub-sized venues.

The Manchester Royal Exchange, a fantastic space and friendly, and similarly the Liverpool Everyman - I liked the chunky old building with the famous Bistro, but the new one has great sightlines and is a really comfy place to visit (possibly same designers as the Dorfman and Bridge, but it's smaller). The Notting Hill Coronet is lovely, with a beautiful bar and a cleverly restructured old building. I like the Almeida too. I love the architecture of the Barbican and NT - I'm a big fan of what I think is rather unfairly called Brutalism, though generally I prefer to see plays in intimate spaces.

I am quite fond of the Coronet ... except for the seats. They tie with upstairs at Stratford East for lack of legroom, I don't fit in a large number of the seats.

My top 3 would be
Theatre Royal Drury Lane (especially after the refit)
London Coliseum (its just go grand)
Prince of Wales (love the art deco and doesn't seem to have a bad seat) although finding your way around is a nightmare.

Storyhouse in Chester is rather nice. It’s a redevelopment of an old Odeon (so art deco building again) with an adaptable theatre (three-tiers with proscenium/two tier thrust,) as well as a little cinema that mixes blockbusters with more arty stuff, and a lot of the walls are lined with books as it’s also the city’s library. It has a NT foyer vibe to it and is used by a lot of community groups. It’s still pretty new so the seats are actually quite comfortable, even the benches, and you’re not sitting on top of the person next to you. The only problem is that actual theatre shows there are quite thin on the ground at the minute.
I’ve only been to each of these once, but I was really impressed with Curve in Leicester, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Barbican.
