She's in the show that followed it at Windsor 😂

It's a two man play plus Jenny is doing a play with Kenwright's other player Martin Shaw in Windsor.

I think it was a joke, rather than a serious question.

Very glad this is transfering however there are not may cheap tickets per performance. It was papering at Windsor so I wonder if that could be the case here ?
Also glad the poster has improved a little, from awful to just pasable.

It does seem an optimistically (or unrealistically) long run for a show which didn't sell that well in Windsor, at a venue likely to have dropped off the radar for former regulars and to be completely unknown to the likely target market. I used to see quite a lot at The Other Palace, which under the old regime generally had good and varied programming but lately it seems to have been nothing but niche musicals, then Heathers for ages, so I've almost forgotten the venue's existence.

Would like to see this but the venue puts me off. Those seats are awful and literally have no legroom.

Might catch a midweek matinee of this. Are both actors scheduled to be on for all performances?

Saw this for the first Matinee this afternoon Sir Ian McKellen and Roger Allam deliver with aplomb. The play is funny and moving in equal measure. The direction is pitch-perfect and a throughly enjoyable watch.
A real masterclass in acting and superb performances by the two. A packed house, sadly no programme on sale only the script at the moment.
Run time 2hrs 20 with interval.

I couldn’t have loved this any more than I did. Went in really not knowing anything about it and honestly thought it was a play about two old friends. But what I got was something I’ve never really ever seen - the sweetest love story between two gay senior citizens, a group that’s almost completely left out of stories like this. Laughed and cried and just had the best time.

Crystal ball time -- any chance of this extending? Our travel plans are a week later. Would love to see this.
