Isn't The Young Vic a bit small in terms of capacity? It isn’t the Young Vic either

Mr B - while plans are likely in the works - do you know timing of the transfer? Thanks

What about the Lyric now? There’s a gap between August and November that needs filling?

It would certainly work better in a smaller venue like the lyric but if lloyd Webber can't sell out there then can Sondheim?

Assassins would have to be redesigned in order to go into the Lyric so it's extremely unlikely.
Frank and Percy makes the most sense, the run in Bath finishes on August 5th and as a two hander with two name actors can slot in easily from late August onwards.

I can't see assassins in a typical theatre space, it would need to be redesigned. Gillian Lynne is the only west end theatre that immediately springs to mind as suitable.

What about the Almeida? Or do they only produce their own shows?

Too large, I'd have thought, unless it was a VERY short run. I was referring to the stage more than the capacity. The assassins set is quite wide plus the runway down the middle of stalls. Of course they could redesign/restage some elements but even then I can't see it fitting in a playhouse like lyric etc.

I assume people don't realise that the Chichester main stage is much bigger than the Almeida?

It's obviously booked somewhere already, according to mrbarnaby, and the Almeida only show their own stuff.
