If the Banana Boat Song is not in this I'll be outraged. It's my favourite scene.

If the Banana Boat Song is not in this I'll be outraged. It's my favourite scene. Well the last line of the text on the website is; "It’s the perfect musical to see after a long hard day-o." So that might be a little clue.

100% agree. I don't really care for the show itself as I don't know the movie and am super tired of Broadway rehashing every remotely successful 80s/90s movie at the moment, but I'm very happy to see she's landed a good part. Will need to look into this now.

She was fantastic in Lazarus. The whole cast was great, actually. The show was just so f*cking weird tho.

Rob McClure just posted that it's opening on Broadway at the Winter Garden. The concept design for the marquee looks fabulously Tim Burton!

Initial reports is that it's good especially the sets and costumes but, the score still needs some work.
On The National Theatre website they have posted a parental discretion advisory so hopefully the creatives haven't watered down the story to make it more family friendly.
Rob McClure really deserves a hit and this might be it.

I just forked out for two tickets to this in April next year. Strangely, our seats were $159 (Orchestra, Row D in the middle), the two seats directly beside them were Premium at $225 - make of that what you will.
But I find Beetlejuice surprisingly reasonably priced for now and am really looking forward to it. Sophie Anne Caruso was amazing in Lazarus.

Why on earth do they use Telecharge as their ticket supplier? Just wanted to book a ticket for April and on several devices and browsers, I always get an error after the final step. I've double-checked everything and even called my credit card company, but they said everything's OK on their side and they didn't even get a query from Telecharge. I do remember that I had the similar problems with Telecharge before and I'm always happy when a show uses Ticketmaster - or any other site. I could of course call them, but I'm pretty sure they'd even misunderstand my name, let alone email address. Collecting my phone-booked tickets for the Wicked tour in Orlando was a hell of a fun... I'm in the US in four weeks, and maybe it'll work with a US IP address...
Edit: Being frustrated, I just booked a ticket for Mean Girls on Ticketmaster. Went through with a breeze.

I had a similar experience with Telecharge myself a few weeks ago when I was trying to sort out tickets for my recent NY trip. There didn’t seem to be any logic as to when you can purchase tickets. I would try early evening, no joy just a similar error message that you got. Tried a few days later, straight through with no issues. In the end I decided to either use TODAYTIX of just print off discount codes and deal with the Box Office in person when Telecharge wouldn’t work. Definitely agree with you, Ticketmaster was a joy to use. Logged onto site, seat selected and purchased within 10minutes. I would love to know why Telecharge is so difficult to use. Maybe one for U.S. board members. Is it common in the U.S. that Telecharge is difficult to access?

Is it common in the U.S. that Telecharge is difficult to access? Even the whole process of selecting a date and choosing a seat is a major PITA on Telecharge and requires oh so many clicks.

I had that with Telecharge a little while back. I tried three different cards, two different devices, and two different wifis, but it just wouldn't work. Sucks to be them, I was willing to buy a full price ticket but ended up getting the same show from TKTS for a helluva lot less.
