If WWRY is making a return, can we please have the original Dominion theatre sets or at least something resembling them? The current tour set was awful and looked cheap.

I only had a conversation with someone last week saying I'd never seen it...

New thread created for this as it surely cannot be anything to do with that touring version?

Touring version would be swallowed up by that vast stage...

Tickets are not cheap (duh), but returning on here to say BOOKED! What a lovely day for theatre announcements!

Booked. How could I refuse? Remembering how great Bat Out Of Hell sounded in this venue, I know it's just going to blow the roof off! (EDIT: Jeez, just read the press release; I've unwittingly quoted Ben Elton's "blow the roof off" comment, which means one of two things: either we are both literary geniuses, or we are both riddled with predictable cliches.)

Is this a conscious choice by ENO/London Coliseum to get money because of their arts funding cuts? Or not related? This will be very popular.

Any word on casting? Would love Mazz Murray as Killer Queen if she ever leaves Mamma Mia. Maybe Kerry Ellis would have a go too.

I've gone to the summer musical at the coliseum for several years but sill give it a miss this year as this musical is really not my thing.

Casting could well be key. No to Matt Lucas as Killer Queen but yes to Kerry Ellis in the role.

I have booked front row seats for July. Saw the original Dominion production 19 times and adored it every single time, sure it isn't high art but it was what I needed at the time it was on. I would love to see MiG back in this in some form, he did used to understudy Pop (prior to taking over Galileo). He has also been back in London this week and Anne Vosser has been tweeting about casting this.......So I guess a role isn't out of the realms of possibility.
Would adore it if they could get Sharon D or Mazz back for Killer Queen!

I’m not a fan of Queen’s music, but my daughter wants to go as a birthday present next year. So I’ve booked, row B stalls. I swear I saw something saying there would be returning names, but who knows

I loved WWRY back in the day at the Dominion so excited to see this next year! Have booked an aisle front row for June, so I’ll have time to go back if I love it again. It is what it is, it’s silly and fun and I like that. I was almost tempted to book a Royal Caribbean cruise almost entirely to see their version of the show!

Look, if we're fantasy casting can I please place my vote for Adam Lambert as Galileo. Not much else would get me to pay the prices they're asking for this!
