London Theatre Direct

I will be in London next week and was interested in purchasing a ticket through London Theatre direct as there is currently a black Friday discount. I’m nervous though though that I’ll turn up to the venue and my seat will be double sold or my ticket won’t be accepted. Is London theater direct legitimate? It just seems like the tickets selection from London Theatre direct and from the venue are slightly different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
