Theatre Clywd have apparently been workshopping a musical based on the the 1970’s movie & tv series ‘Logans Run’ in which anyone over 30 is euthanised; their opinions & ideas deemed unworthy. While once thought of as science fiction, it is now considered more science fact with the ‘shoot first/don’t bother asking questions’ authorities turning a blind eye to the disappearance of more aged members of society in favour of shiny, bright new things. Two people you might recognise from Hollyoaks have been part of the workshop cast, but I can’t remember their names because I’m so old, decrepit and useless as detailed elsewhere. I shall escape to the mountains with Jenny Agutter & Michael York in the hope of being allowed to live a tiny bit longer.
