As it's now topical again... *gets megaphone* Daenaerys is a crap character who is badly acted and doesn't deserve to rule. I’d lump Jon Snow in that bracket too. Most boring character in GoT!

This just suddenly popped into my head. I actually thought Gone with the Wind had great potential. The shame was it felt like going to a workshop of it and needed serious tightening up. But I have to say when Darius strode on to the stage, I was really rather taken. He’s often described as wooden, but to be honest, I’ll never complain about a man who’s constantly stiff. 🧥🚕 (Felt the same in Funny Girl)

Completely off topic but if we’re going with unpopular opinions, I absolutely hate “Six”.
Don’t know if anyone shares this opinion.

I haven't seen enough of it to hate it but the clips & production photos I have seen have made me certain that I never want to see it.
I've never seen Game of Thrones because it sounds far, far too gruesome for me.

I tried to get into Avengers ahead of the new film but it's not for me. So dull. Give me Superman any day. Also just can't get passed that Thor is Kim from Home and Away.

I did watch the early Avengers/Marvel films this decade...but I'm notoriously crap at watching films, so I missed a couple and struggled to catch up...maybe when it's all done I'll work my way through them all as I'm intrigued how it all ends in Endgame...but also I'm not QUITE seeing the fuss.

Those movies are getting worse and worse. I'm only seeing Endgame next week cause my friend got us free tickets for the premiere.

I have had Six recommended to me by a number of people including someone with what could be classed as 'highbrow' taste (whatever that means!) but my only experience of it is the performance on the Oliviers. That felt like eavesdropping on a group of teenagers in a Croydon McDonalds and frankly was quite horrific so am not sold on it just yet.
Seen Episode one of GOT twice, have never felt the need to explore further, another friend described it as 'medieval Shameless' which did not make me want to try again.

I bloody love most of the Marvel movies, especially the Avengers ones. I have all my Chrome spoiler protection set already and cannot wait for next Thursday to see how it all ‘ends’. But give zero fu...am not interested in Game of Thrones at all.

I'm with Gorgonzola, it was fun at first but the Avengers movies have been getting worse, and some of the individual MCU movies haven't even been good. I'm going to see Endgame on release day, I've even booked the afternoon off so I can get in there before I get spoiled, but I very much feel like I'm on the painful 26th mile of a marathon and I'm not going to quit but I'm SO ready to stop running now.

I seen to have undergone a sense of humour bypass, as I hated both 'Back to Life' and 'Ghosts'. Wasn't struck on the return of 'Not Going Out' either.

Not liking a couple of sitcoms doesn't mean you've had a sense of humour bypass! Not Going Out was very watchable up to Tim Vine's departure then it went into a decline that accelerated rapidly when they got married and had kids. I haven't watched it for some time now.

Saw Shazam! today. It's better than all superhero movies I've seen in the last 5 years combined.

Yes, I do think it's an unpopular opinion. I know reviews have been great, but when you compare it to Marvel and the Avengers franchise (which obviously has dominated in the last 5-10 years), I don't think most people will prefer Shazam! And yes, go see it!

It's set in the same world as previous DC films but it's not bogged down that you need to see say Aquaman to enjoy it.

I really want to see Shazam but sadly I don't think I'll have time to see it any time soon, glad to hear it's good as I know very little about it.

"eavesdropping on a group of teenagers in a Croydon McDonalds" - Put that in the program. Just class. Everything about it is just wrong...

Oh my.
That's quite disturbing. I think I can now say quite unequivocally, this is not my type of thing. But good luck to people who enjoy it, wouldn't do for us all to be the same

Love love those 10-minute clips on youtube from Good Morning Britain/This Morning where they argue about gender pronouns or veganism or muslims or whatever and get REALLY angry at like 8am. Ugh, loves it.
I live for drama, henny

^ They're every-bloody-where so I'm not sure this will be an unpopular opinion but I f***ing hate GIFs, especially non-stop ones like that. Or is there at least a setting I can change to make them default to static?

If those unwashed hippy wankstains disrupt Heathrow tomorrow the police should shoot them as terrorists, preferably in the kneecaps for those "okay yah" middle class gimps who are just back from their skiing holiday with Tarquin in St Moritz.
