I LOVE trailers, but I'm sick to death of Ben and his Cineworld Umlimited card. thank you! Me too! Drives me mad the was he's sitting there flicking it endlessly whilst we wait for the lights to go down They allow him to "flick it endlessly" when the lights are up and people can see???

It was almost worth being ill in the 60s just for a bottle of Lucozade... not to mention a couple of days off school. I didn't realize you'd ever worked as a teacher. You've never mentioned it before. Were you the nice type, or the really nasty type, like Tibidabo?

Were you the nice type, or the really nasty type, like Tibidabo? Steady. I'll have you know I was charm personified today and when one of my boys showed me a picture I proclaimed it The Best Cat Anyone Drew Evaaaahhhhhhh! The fact that it was actually supposed to be an elephant is totally irrelevant. (However, if one more kid proclaims they are hot I may not be responsible for my actions.) (It's not hot. It's a pleasant spring day.)

Really can't stand:
The Beatles Bob Dylan Sports World Cup Jersey Boys Meryl Streep (since last year only...she's way too Streepy for me now) ...I'm sure there's more. But these are top on my list.

I hate it when I go to the theatre to see a musical, and the FOH playlist is musical theatre songs...I don't know why but it drives me nuts!

For example, the Piccadilly, if i remember, actually play music relevant to thwt specific show (The Four Seasons, Spice Girls, Annie etc) even outside of the theatre during the day?

I don't like animation full stop. I can't bear Disney or cartoon Winnie the sodding Pooh. I thought Shrek was tolerable but I can't stand Shaun the bloody Sheep. I just can't be doing with it. Yes I know it requires a lot of talent blah di blah, but I hate it.
I like Oliver Postgate stuff but that's about it. I never liked cartoons even as a child.

Picking up a theme from another thread - papering companies either shouldn't exist or should openly and prominently advertise their services to everyone. There are few things more annoying than someone bragging about getting a free ticket to something you paid good money for!
Same goes for people bragging about how much discount they got on tickets when sitting in the theatre - I hunt for discounts a lot but don't then sit there chatting at the top of my voice about how I got a £75 ticket for 20 quid!
I'm really not a fan of the concept of papering full stop - it gives a completely false impression of the audience a show has!

I'm a recent convert to tripe, aka Lancashire Calamari. Dusted in seasoned flour with a bit of smoked paprika and deep fried in gujons, lovely!

David Walliams is an insufferable git who can’t act, and every time his smug stupid little face comes up on TV I want to throw my fist at it. Oh sorry, this is the “unpopular” thread

I see Nicola Walker is on the telly again next week. She seems to play the same part in everything. At least in everything I’ve seen her in.
(She was in two telly things at once, was it last year? One on BBC; one on ITV. Can’t remember the name of either of them. Watched them both but kept getting the plots mixed up as... she was playing the same part in both of them.)

I'm a recent convert to tripe It has genuinely been one of my favourite foods since childhood. I'll happily eat it raw, but it's even better cooked in milk with onion, then you add cornflour to thicken the 'sauce'. Delicious!!!

Picking up a theme from another thread - papering companies either shouldn't exist or should openly and prominently advertise their services to everyone. I completely understand what you mean, however it’s not hard to find these companies if you really want to find them. Without mentioning any specific papering companies - I’m a member of one that I saw in a Facebook advert (so they do market to the masses sometimes). And if you google ‘how to get free theatre tickets’ all the top hits tell you how to do it. It’s also pretty rare that you’ll actually spot tickets to any ‘big’ shows, so don’t feel like you’re missing out too much!

Nostalgia is overrated There is nothing wrong with remakes or reboots of films or television series
