we'd all like to know exactly which part of a flush-mechanism you don't understand? I was enacting Arabic proverbs:
"Fish, and guests, stink after three days".
"A host is his guest's prisoner." I think you know full well it's the silver handle you probably still have in your suitcase. Have I accidentally wandered into the Mornington Crescent thread? Archway.

It's nigh-on impossible to convince them to breed (and even if one gets pregnant, she can change her mind at any point during the process), how much clearer can they make it that they're just not interested in being around anymore? Really?! I'm starting to think you may have a point.

The story of the model who was kidnapped and was auctioned on the Internet is deeply shocking but when she read out her statement to the press yesterday did she really have to come out wearing a skimpy top and tiny shorts? Before she read the statement she was posing for the cameras and everytime she bent down to stroke her dog the cameras zoomed in on her very visible cleavage. Was this really the time and place to be clearly touting for future modelling work? She does seem to have recovered from the ordeal quite well which is good news!

You can't tell what's going on beneath the surface by outward appearances though. Though I've never experienced anything quite like this, my general response to emotional setbacks is to become the life and soul of the party. If you've been scared and traumatised, then it's just as likely that you'll respond by adamantly refusing to let yourself be a victim as it is that you'll be a timid little dormouse forever. It doesn't mean you're not affected on the inside, it just means you've decided that's not the appearance you want to put across.

TANGLED IS BETTER THAN FROZEN. Phew. That's better. So happy I'm not the only one! I'll put in a "me too" here. In fact, out of all the Disney main studio films since they went to CGI Frozen wouldn't make my top half. Not that I think any of them are bad films, but in the context of some of the others Frozen feels a bit pedestrian.

Also, I do find it odd that she went shopping with this guy and didn't try and cause any commotion at all? It's not an unheard of tactic though, "keeping quiet and being good" to keep yourself safe, while ingratiating yourself to your captor so they like you and don't want to hurt you. The whole story's odd, no doubt, but human trafficking and violence against women are such unfortunately huge things still that I'm always going to lean towards the "benefit of the doubt" end of the cynicism scale.

This is absolutely true. I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, too. So why do I feel like I should probably withhold judgement until we find out more?? Gut reaction here, and that is far from reliable, obviously, but it just seems a bit fishy.

A friend of the kidnapped British model Chloe Ayling has revealed that Chloe is doing a Page Three photo-shoot for a newspaper as ‘her way of coping’.
As you do.........

From the BBC article I read this morning: Not always Stockholm syndrome, sometimes just a decision born of pragmatism and/or fear.

I'm leaning so far towards "load of cobblers" that I'm almost horizontal.

Well I've only just bothered to google her and see what she looks like. She's obviously a mod-ELLE and it looks like a crock of doo doos to me.
Next appearing in CBB/Jungle/SexinMajorca.
You heard it here first.

A lot of people look incredibly stupid taking selfies.
And the actual selfie very rarely looks anything like them.
And- strictly speaking- the singular of this ridiculous craze should be ‘selfy’...
