For avatars click on PROFILE at the top of the screen, then the EDIT PROFILE button. You can upload one, link to one or create your own with the avatar maker.

Some of the avatar combinations are enough to give people nightmares! But I like it here...
Question - using an ad-blocker on this site yields a prompt asking you to disable it. Does that help this board, or proboards as a whole?

Question - using an ad-blocker on this site yields a prompt asking you to disable it. Does that help this board, or proboards as a whole? I think it's used to fund ProBoards as a whole. If you pay to have adverts removed you can replace them with your own and then (I assume) they benefit you. I've tried to disable my adblocker and I can't. I still get the same message. I wish sites would tell you what you need to allow because I really do want to enable advertising on the sites I use regularly. On one site it took over half an hour of work with a website debugging tool to trace through the iframes and JavaScript before I was able to see the advertising, and there's only so much work I'm prepared to put in.

I finally got it to display ads by disabling AdBlock Plus on this site and by also allowing a few sites (forgot which) in NoScript. 250kb.de/u/160116/p/BMwdGoS0CAnU.pngEdit: These are my NoScript settings: 250kb.de/u/160116/p/h5EGOzpCAu5S.png

This is great and thanks everyone for their hard work - it will however take some getting used to simply having a different "look"!
EDIT - I will also be forced to get an avatar ny the awfulness of the automatic one

Also quick question - what are we doing about moderators?

Also quick question - what are we doing about moderators? Matthew is a moderator on here already so we've got one for a start. I'd be happy for any of the current forum's moderators to continue on here - only if they want to, of course.

I'd hope that all of the staff from theatreforum.com would come across and continue here. Or at least the ones who are active on the board and who want to continue the role of course.

It must be some interaction between NoScript and uBlock Origin. I'll investigate later when I can muster up more enthusiasm.

I got rid of the baldy man default avatar and made it something a bit more theatre-ish
