Hs anyone seen a Punchdrunk show before? I know it the past the audience has worn masks, however when I booked it didn't mention this on the booking link. My partner has PTSD so cant wear a mask (much like during lockdown). If they use masks for this will there be exceptions?

I got 2 just off centre, row e stalls, I got a seat directly next to the £140 ones, so I'm happy I saved £50 per ticket. Now do we thing think there will be a rake on the actual stalls seats so you can see above those at the tables?

Do we think that if we open up in June as planned that more tickets may become available for this as its currently sold socially distanced? It appears possible. Unlike some venues which have promised to stick to socially distanced seating if it's been sold as such (to placate nervous customers), the Buxton Opera House has this clause: Although that may upset some customers, it's within their T&Cs. buxtonoperahouse.org.uk/booking-information/booking-terms-conditionsFingers crossed then

SO I think I've made an error!! I booked seats 17 and 18 on the front row of the dress, which on looking at the old seating plan would really be 15 and 16 and would have that annoying taller central bar in front and to the right of them. However, do we think this will be removed though seeing as they are taking out the aisle?

Did anyone see Jesus last year, were you expected to wear face coverings even though it was social distanced and outdoors?

Jake Gyllenhaal is a good shout for Joe. He's a big name who can actually sing. If I remember correctly Ewan McGregor's name was bandied about the last time that a film of Sunset was mentioned, but maybe he's a bit too old now for Joe.

Id love to see Hadestown return and a revival of Kiss of the Spiderwoman. It would be amazing if they went with new shows though as well as ones that are rarely produced.

I’m not sure who is editing it but they actually got the name of the lip sync song wrong. And on the topic of the lip sync song, what a dull song to choose with very little room to really take it anywhere. For me it’s probably the worst song choice they’ve ever made.

I hope we get an extended version available at some point with the full versions of the songs. Having seen a promotional post on insta they clearly filmed more of the acceptance song.

I felt so sorry for her after strictly. everyone singing on that night was let down by the sound quality.
And people commenting on the strictly facebook page were less than complimentary about her singing, even going as far to go to Marisha's facebook page to tell her she couldnt sing..!
Ive realised since that the strictly facebook page is often full of vile armchair critics though

Just watching it now and I don’t think Corden is over the top or camp enough! All I keep thinking is I wish it was Brooks Ashmanskas or even Eric Stonestreet
And so far they have cut half the acceptance song and you happened!. Songs seem to get started and then they just cut.

Of course it will happen in London. They just wouldn’t have been able to do it for a one off performance like this. All the ‘amazing acting’ comments are hilarious. She did the best she could in the circumstances I guess. It’s not like they pushed the boat out (understandably given the circumstances) on the staging. Oh I know they weren’t doing the dress change for the royal variety. That’s not what I asked, someone earlier mentioned that the dress will not go through a trap on the stage at Drury lane and they will be using a US tour version. I’ve seen Caroline Bowman singing it on the tour now and through all the dry ice it looks like she stands on a platform that pulls the dress off.

I must admit that although Sam hits all the notes, her voice just seemed to lack any depth or tonal quality, it could be the sound and will no doubt sound better in the theatre. Im giving her the benefit of the doubt as like any song, the more you sing it the more it fits comfortably in your voice.
Just going back to the dress transformation, will this not happen at all in the London version or do they just do it a different way to the original Broadway production?

So pleased were at least getting to see a version of this from home. Just looked at booking tickets and im not sure who they got to write the synopsis but I'm pretty sure the whole show doesnt span over 1 day
" Set over a turbulent New Year’s Eve in 1940s Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard is a compelling story of romance and obsession. Directed by Nikolai Foster, the performance will see Ria Jones reprise her role as silent-screen goddess Norma Desmond, with Danny Mac returning as penniless screen writer Joe Gillis. Further casting will be announced soon"

I'd be more than happy with the Sheffield Crucible cast, Carly Bawden, Dominic West and Louis Maskell

Sarah Lancashire or Tamzin Outhwaite could also work, as they are names the general public would easily recognise and have both appeared in the west end a few times
