Is that Mel or Mel and Sue fame?
I know WOS now have performer rather than male and female but it does mean 2 less awards and much harder to win with the competition. Otherwise I think Tom Francis might have got something.

Why do they insist on carting out Ball and Boe all the time. Come on. Do better. Think fresh. Glad Killian and Bradley will be getting a chance at this new version but that is very lazy ‘celebrity’ casting (and I understand the need for some ‘names’). Because Boe and Ball sell tickets and put bums on seats. And this tour is not a charity its there to make money. I do get annoyed with the rather "snobbish" attitude to these 2 performers, especially Michael Ball who is the most well known MT performer in the country and has fantastic work over the years in keeping MT out there and popular. Those of us who are regular theatre goers have seen both of them many times but the majority of People especially outside of London have not had the opportunities. Now I'm sure some of you would love to someone like Luke Jordan Gage in everything but, let's be honest, outside of our world he ain't known by people so let's give them someone they want to see which might encourage them to go again to see something and someone a little less known next time. Sorry to rant but I just find the constant bashing these 2 get on here is not necessary. Rant over, blame it on 10 hours in A&E at the weekend which has left me rather fragile. 😀

I've seen a few clips online from the show and heard some audio. Doesn't seem like ushers are on the ball (difficult with audio I know). Are they stricter in the West End then Broadway? Also saw a clip just now of Aaron making his entrance and you completely miss his opening words due to the, literally, screaming and cheering that went on for several seconds. God that would so annoy me.

Although I loved the show in London I have to say i was rather surprised when I read of the Broadway run. I was thrilled for Rob but did feel it was rather ambitious. As others have mentioned maybe an off Broadway short run and then transfer if it takes off, the same way it was done for their London shows. Hope they can sort something out and Rob gets the chance to perform in NY.

It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see some of them or maybe one or two from Crazy For You. Charlie Stemp as the Red Caboose anyone?! He is already signed up for Kiss Me Kate.

Wonder ... do you think any of the NEWSIES cast will be auditioning for this? They certainly proved they were all awesome dancers ... could they translate that into skating? :-) It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see some of them or maybe one or two from Crazy For You.

Doesn't Tom Holland have a reputation for plot spoilers with his films and gets told off for it. So I wonder if there will be an interview embargo so that he doesn't give away too much of the storyline?

I'm not as familiar with West End scheduling practices/extensions (vs Broadway). What are the chances this extends again? I'll be overseas next January and was considering stopping in London for a couple days to see a few shows, this one in particular. It's hugely popular and the theatre is small so I think further extensions are quite likely.

As I lurch in to, if not the final curtain but certainly the last act, what the heck am I going to do with nearly two thousand programmes dating back to the early 70's. How rich I would be in one respect if I'd never discovered theatre, but how poor in otheer respects. I feel exactly the same. I've got programmes stashed away allover the place. Lord knows what I'm going to do with them. Maybe make a papier mache coffin?

I'd go to see Bradley Jaden open a paper bag so glad I've already got tickets.

Dame Julie Walters as Berthe “Humour handled by a master” indeed. She would be brilliant.

Whilst we wait for further casting I guess we can start to make suggestions.
I think Jac Yarrow would make a great Pippin and I'd like to see Louise Gold reprise her role as the grandmother.

I'm guessing there will be more "names" to be announced otherwise it is going to struggle especially as they are doing 2 nights. I booked on presale as soon as it was announced and seating plan doesn't look much different now from when I booked. There is also a central block of stalls seats that wasn't on sale even during pre sale which I presume is for a ticketing agency.

I'm only a few tracks in and it's not bad. Judging by the number of tracks I presume it's sung through and, I believe, it's meant to be a "pop opera". Intend to listen to the rest whilst doing the ironing today.

This sounds absolutely dreadful. Can only imagine the people it will attract. You can also see Anna Jane Casey’s performance already. Easy pass. Rude! Especially as I intend to go.

Can anyone tell me if Bare - The Album which is 2 parts is this musical? Don't want to bother with it if it's something completely different but I can't find anything saying Bare the pop opera. Yes, that’s the pop opera version (On Spotify it’s listed as Bare the Album - Act 1 and Bare the Album Act 2) Thats great. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm going against the grain and have to say I thinknit could be quite fun and looking forward to it. I'll certainly book. But I am probably of the generation that Will be their core audience. But the biggest selling point for me is the chance to see AJ Casey as Sybil Fawlty. I think she will be brilliant.
