Am I right in assuming that this show isn’t really aimed at the likes of us on this board? This thread, for example, averages one post a month! I really like the show, it’s just the casting of Jade Ewan and, formerly, Dean John Wilson that put me off. I’m waiting with a return visit until they got a new Jasmine, one that can actually sing.

Well, I've almost completely lost interest in Wicked and won't return until after a big cast change. The sad thing is, if it announced its closure, I wouldn't even care - never thought that'd ever happen.

Seen this today in Aberdeen.
Who ever thought tangerine was the new pink having that megamix at the end was a good idea is seriously disturbed. I never wanted to leave a theatre as badly as during the last couple of minutes - they murdered one of my all time favourite scores.
Really liked Lucie Jones as Elle Woods, but was not impressed at all by Bill Ward (too loud and hyperactive and he rushed through his lines) and Rita Simons - where's Jodie Jacobs when you need her? Her Ireland was, excuse the pun, so much better.
Set and costumes weren't as bad as I expected them to be after reading this thread, but still odd. The stenographer in the final court/bath room scene was also weird and overacted too much for my liking.
Legally Blonde is still one of my favourite shows, but I'm glad to have only booked Aberdeen and not any more stops. If it were touring again, I do hope it'll be closer to the original.

Has anyone set up a TeamApolloVictoriaSecurityGuard Twitter fan page yet? I wouldn't be surprised if someone has. There's Team Alice Fearn, Team Laura Pick, Team Sophie Evans, Team Rosa O'Reilly.. You get the idea. How about a Team Team Alice Fearn Account?

I've been using an iPhone for ages and despite some minor flaws, I am really happy with it. My contract allows for a new phone every two years, so it'll be an iPhone 8S or XS or XI (or whatever the new one(s) will be called) this autumn and my current iPhone 7 will then be retired and most likely sold.
Last year I got a Samsung Galaxy A5 as company phone and I hate everything about it - there's no single day where I wouldn't want to dash it against the wall. Android is such a pain-in-the-youknowwhat. I even had to google to find out how to change some of the settings on Android - never had that problem on iOS. I also have some problems with typing a text and the auto correcting on Android drives me mental, the iPhone pendant is working much better. Android is confusing, cluttered, user-unfriendly - thanks, but no thanks.
In fact, I'm even thinking of using my old iPhone 7 with the company SIM card instead of retiring it and leaving the A5 unused in my drawer.
And while I'd never exchange my computer for an iMac or MacBook (I actually like Windows and am using lots of software I'd be missing dearly), I will stick with Apple for smartphones and tablets.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know when the London cast change is this year? Martello has posted this upthread: [...] LONDON rehearsals are Monday 26 June - Saturday 22 July 2017, first performance is Monday 24 July, final performance is Saturday 21 July 2018 (contract end date Sunday 22 July 2018). [...] And when we are likely to get the announcement?

Do we honestly need two threads where we are talking about the reviews for this show? Until a transfer is announced I don’t feel it needs to be discussed over on the musicals board. I can just see it turning it into the DEH thread which is full of several pages talking about a show which has no transfer confirmed. I agree, the thread on the musicals board could be merged here for everyone who wants to discuss Frozen as it is now and a new thread can be created once a West End transfer is announced. It'll most definitely come - it's a critic-proof money spinner for Disney, way more so than Aladdin that came over pretty quickly and despite its many flaws isn't doing badly. Done. Please use the “report post” button next time so that we staff get notified. Thanks.

I'm also from Germany. In my heydays, I used to fly over to London at least once a month (my personal record were 17 times in 2015 - most of them to see Memphis), but in recent times, my trips to London are getting less and less frequent - down to six times last year, and this year, I've only booked two so far. But that's not because I've lost interest in theatre, it's more because the vast majority of shows currently running don't interest me at all, and the longrunners I used to visit drove me away with some questionable casting decisions.
I also visit New York at least once a year and try to catch some UK tours to visit some new places in the UK (off to Aberdeen in May for the Legally Blonde tour...) - sometimes, I think I'm more familiar with London than with my home town...
