Did anyone have a booking for the 21st October? This is now showing as a sold out show on the calendar (and has been since they reopened booking on 16th March). I’m wondering if they are doing something different for this show now?
Currently they have moved my booking a week earlier but I specifically booked this date for ‘Back to the future day’ so just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. I’ll be really frustrated if they do then announce a show is going ahead on that date!

So....had my refund from Royal Albert Hall yesterday. Everything back except the £1.50pp restoration fee. Now, I know it’s only £3 total but I find it a bit cheeky they are keeping this when all other tickets are being refunded in full from other theatres and these also include the levy’s. When questioned I got a pre prepared statement that they are refunding more than they actually have to by giving back booking fees anyway!
I was actually planning on donating value of one of the tickets back, but this has left a bit of a sour taste. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Anyone see Eurobeat? I had a ticket as the casting appealed ,but couldn't face a trip to the powerstation site via train, tube and boat in tree felling, nose freezing, wave churning weather. If they want an audience hows about putting it on somewhere accessible, not in mid Winter - like somewhere ten minutes walk from Victoria in an underused studio? Totally agree about location. Last year I went to almost all of the shows and a couple of the nightcaps as the location was perfect and they were scheduled so you could actually make a whole evening - 2 x shows then nightcap. Dropping the extra parts of MTfest and the location at the turbine meant I just couldn’t justify a 2 hour return trip plus Vic to Turbine for a 45min-1 hour show. A shame as I really enjoyed what I saw last year and the concept of the festival is an excellent one.

What sort of tickets are coming up on the rush? Got Circle F39 in rush for yesterday. Brilliant seat with complete view of the stage.

If anyone was there last night or is there today who booked through the WOS/LoveTheatre pre-sale, are the tickets being held at the box office for collection? My confirmation email has vanished (I had received it, I’ve checked it multiple times recently so it must have been accidentally deleted) and I’m having a bit of a panic because I have no idea what I need There was an e-ticket attached to the email that you needed to print off and show. But give the Box Office a call, they should be able to print you a duplicate.

Rant coming from me at the moment 3 unbelievably rude people sat behind me at the Wicked matinee today. Talking constantly to each other and singing along. Finally snapped and told them to be quiet when they couldn’t even keep their mouths shut during Defying Gravity. Honestly...is it too much to ask for people to have some respect for other people in the audience and the actors on stage?! I’m finding this is becoming more and more of a problem and is really starting to put me off going to the more ‘touristy’ shows where a lot of people don’t seem to grasp how they should behave whilst watching a show. Its sad to say but is it going to get to the point when the pre- show announcement about phones is going to be 5 mins long to cover everything that shouldn’t be done (that most people would consider common sense)!

And to think when this show first started I got a deal which was top price stalls seats for £15! I believe it’s the same producers as Bank Robbery. They’d be daft not to upsize by 250 ish seats, the demand is clearly there. One of the producers is the same, Kenny Wax, but not the others. Given none of the other shows Kenny Wax has produced in the West End recently - Top Hat, The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery - have had any rush tickets at all, the fans of SiX should be glad that they at least have a chance to try for rush tickets. (I don't even want to think how much money Mr Wax has had from me in the last few years!)
ETA I've just had a look on Twitter & I'm confused. There are a number of tweets from people complaining that they now won't be able to afford to see the show. However on TodayTix's website it says rush tickets are £25. On SiX's official website it say tickets are from £19.50. So if the ordinary ticket price starts at lower than the rush ticket price then why are people complaining that they can't afford to see it without getting rush tickets? Why don't they just buy the cheapest ordinary tickets? It's not as if the Arts is a 1500+ seat theatre where the cheap seats are miles from the stage.
Most of the people complaining they can’t afford it are the ones who have been multiple times in the last few months. Maybe instead of monopolising the rush tickets, they can now just go half as many times and pay in advance. They clearly have the money as even at £25 that starts to add up over multiple visits!

Fair point. My feeling, though is that even without production holds, the company manager should be saying, "family hold back" and not have the cast screw over the public in this way. To me it looks very bad indeed, cast using their hold over fans to obtain tickets. That's no different to touts bullying box office people in my mind. Not quite the same thing, but a while ago I did the Book of Mormon in person lottery quite a few times, and there were often cast members taking part. They always seemed to win, too. Maybe all the house seats had been used up, but it did seem to decrease the odds of the pubic winning seats. I’ve been at BOM when cast members have entered but I wasn’t too bothered by this. They had one entry per person which is fair. I’m totally on the same page as TheatreMonkey about Six though. It’s a cast member having multiple fans attempting to get them tickets that seems a bit unfair to me. The tweet that I saw recently had 10 people saying that they would try and get tickets for them and that seems not quite right.

Is there any tips for Rush Tickets with Six? I have tried so many times, but as soon at it hits 10am, I seem to never stand a chance haha! Am I being optimistic to think that I'll ever get tickets that way, or should I just bite the bullet and book in advance? Also any ideas/thoughts on who might be in the tour cast? What are people’s thoughts on cast members asking people to try rush tickets for them? Seems to me that this then causes multiple people to secure/hold rush tickets stopping others when they probably wouldn’t have bought the tickets. Seen this a few times recently.

Anyone know of any discounts for this at Woking next week? There are SO many seats left so hoping there is a discount somewhere. I fancy seeing it but don't want to pay £40+ for it! There were seats available for Wed for £20 best offer with ATG when I looked last week - don’t know if that dates any good for you?

Saw Tootsie last night on its first preview and Santino Fontana is pretty incredible in this show. Will be expecting him to get a nomination for sure.

First show of my New York trip, and it is truly a spectacular sight to be seen! The Kong puppet and the way they work it is just incredible. Visually, the show is incredible. I loved the leading lady Christiani Pitts. Excellent vocals and she really committed to her performance. Choreography especially in the open was excellent. Overall a very strong ensemble cast. The score isn’t too great but... who cares? I got more than I expected from this one. Tickets - was front row of the orchestra for $49 rush. Only bought them at around 17:10. Theatre seemed pretty full! Hoping to see this next week, so great to hear that rush tickets seem pretty easy to come by.

At the MT Fest nightcap tonight with Rob Houchen he said he went in for DEH but was told he was too old. So that’s him out of the running A real shame as I think he would have been great.
