Hello does anyone have a copy of the latest issue of this, which is published this week I believe? I've been looking for it in my local WHS all week but no sign yet.

I had problems a few months ago. CD supposedly in stock but didn't come. No reply to my frequent emails. I found out from other sources that it couldn't be in stock as release delayed. Eventually it came. I won't be ordering from them again. Like anthony40 I was a regular at their shop. Pity.

Slightly ridiculous for UK CD collectors to have to buy a London cast recording from an American site and pay 17 dollars in postage to receive within two weeks... Yes, I will stream via Tidal but would also like the CD. Now available at Amazon uk for alot less - £13.99

Saw this for the first Matinee this afternoon Sir Ian McKellen and Roger Allam deliver with aplomb. The play is funny and moving in equal measure. The direction is pitch-perfect and a throughly enjoyable watch. A real masterclass in acting and superb performances by the two. A packed house, sadly no programme on sale only the script at the moment. Run time 2hrs 20 with interval. I've paid for a programme in advance. I wonder if they'll give us a script instead?

Saw this last year . Hopefully there will be some chances of cheap tickets this year. I saw Matthew Wolfenden in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" years ago.

This reminds me that I did brave Milton Keynes on a free evening last week to catch the tour (an easy enough trip from London). Second row seat, the view was fine, but the seats are not the best positioned to see past the rows in front. Kevin Brewis was on as Bert all week. I thought he brought this own spin on the character. Connor Hughes was on as Mac, which is such a waste as he just doesn't get to dance much. I did think that everyone was on better form that an the start of the tour. I'm booked for Dartford next week, which is one of Michael Praed's final dates before he leaves the show. Dartford won't be happening as the Orchard has shut due to concrete.

I caught the tour in Bromley last week, with a heavily discounted ticket. You could just about take my review from the first post as my thoughts are much the same. An enjoyable show, a talented lead, but a weak book. It was pretty full on the night I was there, with a generally more senior audience, although I was surprised by how many gasps there were at the end when the audience discovered what had happened to Buddy Holly. I thought it was rather common knowledge. A cheap and cheerful show, but an enjoyable enough evening, and you can't fault the quality of the music. I was there last week too. Lots of empty seats. No gasps. But quite a few people got up & were dancing. Luckily I had anticipated this & was in front row of the circle so I could still see. I enjoyed it & bought the DVD.

I hate it when people get up to dance. Then I can't see the actors & have to get up too.

I often feel like I'm the only one who likes the Louison storyline. I think in todays times with our awareness of mental health etc I think this storyline will bring even more heart into the show. That was my favourite bit of the show. Michael Matus was great.

Have to admit that I needed to Google him but I'm still none the wiser, but then I rarely go to the cinema. Me too.

Saw this yesterday afternoon after seeing it with the cast before last year. It was a jam packed Matinee with lots of school parties and coach outings! Sat in Row B of the stalls, was awesome to be near for the ending with the DeLorean. The cast were okay but I do think Roger Bart played the Doc role with perfection and made me giggle last time! Cory was missing some of the sparkle Roger had. Jordan Benjamin as Goldie Wilson was a standout for me and had the strongest voice. The effects truly are done extremely well to its credit and the climactic clock tower sequence set in a lightning storm is visually stunning. Our rush seats had us in the mezzanine, so we felt about eye level with the car in the finale. Could not see any indication of how the illusion is done from there. How does it play from the stalls? Is it just as effective? I've seen it several times & been "in the zone". Still no idea. Hoping the book will reveal all.
