New neighbours decided to have a party last night. Started 6.30pm until 3am - loud throbbing techno music. Feel like chucking a brick through their windows. Husband tried ringing the police - non emergency number but no answer just a recording to fill in an internet form. We don't have internet at home. Even our local council has no out of hours noise team - just fill in another internet form. Pissed off.

Kevin Clifton is joining the Rock of Ages tour to play Stacie... whatever you do, don't search for the photo of him 'in costume' I did. And I now need therapy. Wow. He looks good.

At Barry Manilow last night (O2 not theatre but he's still very theatrical) the couple in the section above me had 2 largish cameras they attached to the barriers and must have filmed most the show. But overall while people did take pictures and videos during the show it wasnt all phones in the air all the time, felt like being at a concert 20 years ago. Was quite lovely. But people stood up & made it impossible for people behind to see until the man next to me shouted at them to sit down. Someone behind me was singing along to all the songs.

I have pulled something in my back. Either by sitting at a desk, or by sleeping. Annoyingly, I normally have physios 'on tap' who can fix this sort of thing in my day job...but I'm not in until next week. Sonofabitch. Sod's Law.

I think this season I will only watch as long as Danny John Jules is still in. My husband hates the programme So won't tell him that as he will put a curse on him.

Great seeing the show again. I enjoyed seeing Matthew's take on the role & loved Bonnie.

She gives a bad name to genuine women who are abused [ or abused men come to that]. Her behaviour may stop real people being believed.

I'm going tonight. I've got a dayseat. I can't believe I was the only one waiting when they opened except for a man who arrived just before opening but wanted an advance ticket. I've got AA5.

Spent a fascinating evening on a guided "Bat Watching Walk" in my local park last night. We saw two cricket and a table tennis... no, we didn't, but I had to get the line in before anyone else did. And none from Hell either. Did see 3 species, and learned the three major ideas we all have about bats are totally wrong! First, they can see as well as we can - no "blind as a bat." Second, they hear on totally different frequencies to us, so couldn't care less about the 100 strong crowd who turned out. Third, they don't sleep upside down if they have a choice. All they want is safety, so they hide in crevices where possible, lying any way that fits and protects them. For a mere £1 donation to the local Wildlife Trust, total bargain of a trip . Took my kids on bat walks a couple of times when they were children. Very interesting.

I was there last night. I thought the 3 "Bee Gees" should have been allowed to come down to the front of the stage to take the final bow as they did virtually all the singing.Quite different from the original production.

It's my Birthday (I know I don't look that old) but the big news is that my Mother got me (wait for a it) a Colin the Caterpillar cake from M&S. That's the stuff of actual childhood dreams. Happy Birthday Em.

I enjoyed this much more than the original production. I didn't get a programme so I don't know names - but I thought the girl playing Mary had a wonderful voice. Also thought the boy playing Thomas was a great actor. However all were excellent. Very glad I saw it.

My youngest son is a Beatles fan despite not being born until after they split. He's been asking me about "Let it Be" as posters appearing everywhere around Welling & Bexleyheath. He knows I have seen the show in London before. He has just told me to keep a particular evening free in October as he has bought tickets for us to see it in Dartford.
