They did have a load of wins at various awards last year that considered the public run. They aren't then eligible for some awards this year because of the public run. So they won critics choice and drama desks last year so aren't eligible.

*raises walking stick and lashes out at young whippersnapper while cackling manically* In my day, young (very young) lady, we didn't have fancy things like "Entry Pass." We had to buy proper adult membership like everybody else, and like it. You youngsters don't know your born - never even been down t'mine like we did (well, they took us to Big Pit on a school outing). But back on the subject: I've made do all these years with the basic £15 Advance membership, and never had a problem getting in for anything at all. In fact, now that they seem to release seats online randomly, it's even easier. True, you won't often get the £15 tickets, but you'll get in, and usually at the next price up. My feelings is that unless you are loaded, or addicted to those £15 seats, then you may as well go for the cheapest option, and use the difference in price - £85 - to buy a more expensive ticket for those plays that you need to. Thanks Theatremonkey. I'm very aware that I've been totally spoilt with £5 tickets for everything for years! The £15 membership sounds like a great plan, thanks!

Hi all
As I turn 26 next month I'll be losing my prized National Theatre Entry Pass membership which is devastating but I've definitely made use of it over the years!
I'd like to keep going with some level of membership at the National and was wondering what level of membership other people had, if any?
I've been looking at the Young Patron membership for £100 a year, do you think this would give me enough of a chance of getting tickets for something like Angels in America (I.e something that will likely sell out quickly) when they go on sale?
Thanks for any advice!

I love the Proms! Always try to go to at least one, usually by "promming" where you queue up on the day for a £5 ticket that gets you into the centre bit of the Albert Hall. Always a lovely experience- either packed in and standing with loads of other enthusiastic people or sat on the floor spread out just enjoying the music!

Wow October 2017 is a little further away than I was expecting but I'm so thrilled that it looks like it's actually going to happen.
Lin opening the show would be a great treat but as so many have said before, the show is the star, getting to see him star in the show he created is just an extra bonus which we willl hopefully get in the future'

For anyone who was waiting the Hamilton the revolution book is back in stock on Amazon. I'm still in 2 minds about this one it looks good but I really don't need any more 'coffee table' books. It's a really beautiful, informative and entertaining book. It's not huge and would fit on a normal bookshelf alongside other hardbacks without looking out of place. I'm really enjoying Lin talking about narrative decisions vs historical accuracy.

I don't know the source Material at all and I've never listened to the Broadway recording, I enjoyed it much more than I expected! It's fun and the cast are great and working very hard. Wasn't sure by some of the choreography and it is pretty un-pc but people were properly loving it. There were people around me singing along a little bit so obviously some big fans in the house.

For the rest of this year I think I have... Toxic Avenger, Hand to God, The Suicide, Doctor Faustus, Aladdin, The Spoils, Fun Home, Groundhog Day,Harry Potter and Dreamgirls. There's definitely a few other things I've forgotten. Will be adding more Broadway and an Edinburgh Fringe trip!
This is probably the most I've ever had prebooked at once!

Only other musicals to win the Pulitzer in recent memory are Next to Normal and Rent right? Also Baz tweeted congratulations saying it was going to the Victoria Palace... Is that him confirming its going there do we think? Right, with Sunday in the Park with George winning in 1985 and A Chorus Line winning in 1976. In the Heights and Fun Home were both finalists but didn't win their respective years. Basically, musicals win the Drama prize roughly about once a decade. Do you have the link to the Baz tweet?

That's a shame for the cast. I've been meaning to go again from a better seat to enjoy Harry Melling's performance again. I've booked a discounted stalls seat through Lastminute.com for the last show.

For everyone that ordered the book on Amazon I just checked my account and mine is being delivered on Friday. Aargh! I cancelled my order because my Dad is in the U.S so I figured he could pick one up in a bookstore, every shop he's tried is sold out. It's number 1 in all book sales on amazon.com at the moment. Think they've completely underestimated demand for this!

The main Heights cast did a mini gig at the Theatre Cafe this afternoon, place was totally packed full of people who knew all the words. New Vanessa, Christine Allado, sounded great. They did all the big solo numbers and Duets. David Bedella was there eating a McDonald's moments before singing Inutil the best I've ever heard him do it!

Farewell to Billy, can I just say what an impressive training ground it is for young performers? A former Billy is the new Spider-Man, many have appeared in other west end shows, a few in Matthew Bourne's company and multiple appearances on the telly between them.

Booked for this as I'm a big Jesse Eisenberg fan. Back row as that was the most reasonable price wise and didn't mind it when I saw The Maids! Wonder how it'll sell. Same, I don't mind the back row there!

Interested in this but hate Trafalgar Studios seating and prices! Presumably £15 Mondays will happen for this?

Next to Normal, please? With Jenna R? Pretty please?? Someone on here or the old board suggested Next to Normal with Sarah Lancashire which I fully support as an excellent idea!

On the ITV highlight their performance is at about 48 mins.
Shame they cut the song down for time, if only they could have done a medley like the US cast did for the Tonys of In The Heights and 96000!

Honestly, a laminated theatre spreadsheet sounds like one of the most beautiful things on earth. Ha! It truly is a beautiful thing!

I'll be considering the same thing. Decided that one thing I wanted to do before I turn 30 (weep) was go to Fringe, so booked accommodation last August for this year. Need to get a plan together (thinking detailed spreadsheet) of things I definitely want to see and start to semi plan my days once the full schedule comes out. I am a big fan of a detailed Fringe spreadsheet! Last time I laminated it to protect it from the Edinburgh rain
