So is there a difference between a walking cover and a standby?

Another vote for Museum of London, really enjoyed that. The cable car across to the O2 is good if you like those. London Transport Museum also great.
Ones on my list that I haven't got round to yet: Bank of England Museum Thames RIB experience Hidden London tours by the Transport Museum (my regular theatre buddy can't walk very well so we're hoping to do those when her walking improves)
My friends went to the film museum (I think that's what it's called) in Covent Garden, they weren't expecting much but said it was very enjoyable.

I once got into a bit of a disagreement with one colleague when another colleague was bringing her baby in and I suggested that it would be far better if she brought her dog instead as babies were boring and if they were ugly you had to say nice things about them, whereas it's a lot easier to find good things to say about a dog.

He was great in the role when we saw it in Manchester, I just thought he seemed a bit half hearted when he started singing on Sunday He performed it brilliantly on Saturday and played a bit with the audience. He got a huge ovation. Yes, we were there Sat eve

Olly was cute but didn't really sell Back to the Future for me (if I hadnt already seen it that wouldn't have convinced me) but I really liked it when the choir joined in and livened it up. JOJ amazing as always, that man never seems to get any older! Olly sold it for us - pretty much the first thing my (74 year old) friend said afterwards "We are definitely seeing Back to the Future, he was lovely!!"

We are in the office every other week at the moment and I just found a chocolate bar I left here last time. Really cheered me up!

Loved this tonight. Jordan Luke Gage and Olly Dobson highlights for me. I was interested in &Juliet before but hadn't really considered seeing Back to the Future. Now it's pretty high on my list!

Oooh it’s nice to be sat in a theatre again! Even socially-distanced it feels buzzy! Less than 48 hours until I will be, getting more and more excited!

As I'm watching the musical episode of Lucifer, I'm wondering about Tom Ellis in Moulin Rouge

Just spotted this. Alyn Hawke in concert at the Turbine Theatre on 28 June, performing songs from the musicals he's understudied in, including 42nd Street. www.theturbinetheatre.com/whats-on/understudy-jazzTickets are only £12 and there's still good availability. Looks like it will be a good night (with a fantastic singer at the helm). Thanks, I'll look into this as I was very impressed when I saw him playing the lead in Top Hat

The amount of people on my social media going to vote today but complaining they haven't had any election leaflets. Firstly, we should all be trying to use less paper and secondly, if you can use social media you can bloody well Google thr info you need for the election! /rantover

Pretty much the whole of 42nd Street. I was familiar with some of the music but had never seen the film or a stage production before the one at Drury Lane. The opening when they are all tapping and the explosion of brightness in We're in the Money made me so happy.

While everything else has been going on, the Delfont Mackintosh website has had a comprehensive redesign. I'm not sure it's an improvement, especially on a smartphone. Swipe up for this, down for that; swipe left for that, right for this. And home may be where the heart is, but trying to return to it requires a masters degree in computer science! Yes, I didn't find it very easy on a smartphone either, my saved login didn't work so I had to reset my password. They're definitely not my favourite people at the moment as I booked for Mary Poppins over a month ago, since then have only had a vague email saying they'll let me know the options in a few weeks. As I booked the day before the tickets were taken off sale, they must have known when they took my money that the performance wouldn't happen!

My mum in law has just started going out shopping again and brought me some flowers to say thanks for all the shopping I've done for them over the past few months.

Do you wear glasses? If you do you need advice from another glasses wearer. I don't wear glasses so bear this in mind! I feel given this is a theatre website I should plug theatresupportfund.co.uk/products/the-show-must-go-on-facemaskI strongly suspect they won't work well for glasses wearers as when I wear them I can feel my breath going past my eye lashes. I wear glasses and bought one of the Show Must Go On masks. It was quite large so needed a little bit of adjustment to put some wire around the top and make the straps smaller. I've had lots of lovely comments about it though and a nice chat about musicals with the nurse while I had my smear test!

The wording was a little confusing, you can rebook as soon as you have your voucher. I got my email this afternoon and rebooked within 10 mins. Did you rebook for a socially distanced date or later in the run? For later in the run, mid-Sept

I was hoping for lots more theatre, but the admin already involved with booking dates that have recently gone on sale, then were taken off again (I'm looking at you Hairspray and Mary Poppins) is doing my head in. Saying that, I have just booked Pretty Woman for Sept in the hope that won't be moved

Agree and no one can pull off wearing a cardie like he can. I just hope one day he can come over here and do a musical. Whatever it is, they can just take all my money now

Same email too, will rebook for Sept I think as I've booked various things for June this past week and they're already being changed.
