Hello everybody! First time here in this forum. I used to visit the BroadwayWorld.com message board and there someone told me this was the best place to get the help I need. First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Roberto and I'm from Portugal. I'm a 24 year-old actor with a Theatre major. I've been doing theatre since I was 13 and as soon as I discovered Angels in America it quickly become my favourite play. However the HBO miniseries was the only way I had of seeing it performed (and it is in fact a wonderful piece of television). Then, this year, I find out this production was happening in London, with one of my favourite actors: Andrew Garfield. Then I discovered Russel Tovey, who I discovered watching Sherlock and lately loved his performance in London. And then Nathan Lane is announced as Roy Cohn. As you can understand my excitement was through the roof. My favourite play, with one of my favourite actors and a stellar cast! I decided I needed to see this and so I'm willing to spend some of my savings on this. And this is where I need help, because: a) I've never been to London. In fact I've only been out of Portugal three times, all of them on school trips b) I'm planning on going alone c) I never watched a play outside of Portugal, let alone at the National Theatre in London So, is there I kind soul in here, more experienced than I, who could help with this adventure? As a theatre actor myself I can't miss this opportunity, but I do need a little guidance. I know I'm just a stranger, but I'd be forever grateful to all of you. And what a lovely way to make some friends with the same interests Please PM me if you're willing to talk about it and help me. Thank you, Roberto
