The hand was out ready to block as far as I can see. I had the radio commentary on along with the vision and Waddle thought the same. I do think that the law needs making more black and white so that any hand that affects play is penalised though. The current law allows players to claim innocence because it is too much about intent. The one poor decison was the free kick earlier. It was an obvious penalty as far as I could see. Not sure why Shearer and co were bleating on and on!!

Not sure why Shearer and co were bleating on and on!! Because people funnily enough have different views, as they are entitled to... I was watching with my dad and it was very obviously not a penalty as far as we could see! The arm was up for balance when jumping and the ball was hit from a yard away, no time whatsoever to get the arm out of the way. Ball to hand, not a penalty. Anyway, if the referee was sure, he would have given it straight away. Instead he took 5 mins to decide, which to me suggests serious doubt. If in doubt, then it shouldn't be given.
