Sorry to tell you this Ryan, but there's a secret plan for him. But of course I can't say anything about it. Well that plan had better involve him presenting the weather in his trunks every day from my house or I shall not pay the licence fee.

The BBC clearly asked for a slimmer remit. There has to a reason for that. You can't ask for change and no change at the same time. They are hiding their real motivation.

Did they send Tomasz to Florida do you think in which case waste of money. Sorry Ryan. Or was he there on his hols and checked in? Do the people who pop up on the news in foreign countries have a BBC retainer or are they paid per appearance ? Not darling Ora G ( apologise can't spell her name) but the odd ones we never see again.

Did they send Tomasz to Florida do you think in which case waste of money. Sorry Funny, my first reaction when he appeared was "how did he blag that one?" Couldn't see the reason either. Also wasn't impressed they were putting an employee in unnecessary danger. You should watch some of the maniac hurricane reporters on some of the US channels. Absolutely crazy being stood out there in 100mph plus winds.

I was considerably more impressed by the small group of people who were sitting through the hurricane in a gas station in Islamadora so the emergency services could get fuel (and snacks) when they started clearing up the Keys once the storm had passed. With the reporters I was aware that they had the resources of their team and their station behind them and they could have been anywhere. With the livestream from the guy who became known as "gas station man" it was a few people hunkered down in a specific location that I could look at on Google Street View, and it made the whole thing more personal.

Well just so long as they don't get rid of Tomasz Schafernaker then they can do what they like. Perhaps we should have a dedicated Perving thread, just to keep all the perving in one place.
