Every bone in my body wants to not like this show but it's addicting! Jane comes across so well in it and she's hilarious, I used to not be able to stand her.

As an old Sydneysider I was disappointed that we didn't see much of Sydney before Jane was off to a new destination. The scene where she sang 'O mio babbino caro' on the stage of the Joan Sutherland Opera Theatre was great but I was hoping for just a few more glimpses of Sydney. Never mind, the programme was enjoyable none the less thanks to Jane's winning personality.

Loved her for many a year back when she used to sing in the gay clubs lol .... cruising with ..., great show but I do wish she would tell us more about the ships and some honest feedback and reviews on the cabins , service , entertainment etc .... never been and never wanted to cruise (cough cough ) until saw Jane doing it but would love more advice from Jane on the best ones to choose

Have to say cruises are now my favourite holiday by a mile. Have done 13 so far and done about 8 companies, my favourite being Princess. They do vary depending on if you prefer a larger ship like me as they have more facilities and a wider choice of entertainment. They are such an easy holiday though and the service is so great.

Thank you so much for reminding me Drowseychap!!!!

Well we have done 12 , 13 by the summer. Princess 4, Cunard 2, and all these once: P and O , Costa, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and soon to be MSC. Princess are our favourites due to superior food and entertainment. Cabins or state rooms are usually the same whoever you go with. Our least favourite was P and O this April. I wasn't overly impressed with the food and they were a bit too British. However I am sure you would enjoy most. There are many websites and we just usually wait for a good offer to crop up. With the MSC this August we got a balcony cabin for the price of an inside. Our first balcony. We have done a range of places, mostly med but have done Hawaii and Caribbean.Cruisenation.com and bonvoyage are pretty good sites but there are loads of them.

Big Jane fan, but anyone else think the whole schtick is wearing a bit thin now?
I mean... Last night there was a solid 5 hours of Wakefield/wine gags.
If I was her agent I might be thinking about advising a little Jane-free period before everyone gets sick of the sight/sound of her.
Or maybe they're milking it for as long as they can...

Oh my word this remains trashy on every level. But I keep getting strangely drawn back to the hammy naffness of it all. A guilty near-pleasure. I think!

The new Down under series starts on Friday. This covers other forms of travel I think other than cruising. Jane is everywhere this Christmas / New Year!

Her mother died the other week, and when I looked there was a solitary tweet expressing her sorrow, surrounded by lots more tweets blaring out “last few seats left for Blackpool” and suchlike. I don’t know who is in charge of her twitter but I thought it was distasteful. And I agree, the schtick is wearing thin.

Another cruise series started on ITV last night and it will put you off cruusing for the rest of your life. On board activities included standing by the lifts and taking bets on which one arrives first and putting a golf ball into a paper cup sellotaped to the carpet.

when I looked there was a solitary tweet expressing her sorrow, surrounded by lots more tweets blaring out “last few seats left for Blackpool” and suchlike May have been that the sad one was sent manually, and the rest were automated to go live by the marketing company - and they forgot to do anything about it. I'd agree that's likely what happened. Scheduled seats in line with the concerts set up ages ago (especially given the festive break) and all concerned forgetting they were going up. And even so, perhaps Jane herself being of the mentality 'the show must go on' and all that (assuming she didn't cancel? no idea) didn't mind all that much, and maybe her Mother wouldn't either. Anyway the first explanation is most likely.

I'm reading between the lines here, but help me out here. If I book a cruise, on any ship at anytime, Jane will be aboard right? Like in the same way Santa delivers all his packages in one night?

For those who think that can NEVER be ENOUGH Jane I have posted her version of the song from her Christmas Leeds show below.
Not great visually but the sound is pretty good and she certainly gives it a good go!

Scrolling through the tv menu and tonight's programme came with the warning that it "contained distressing scenes". I didn't think her rendition of the Men at Work classic 'Down Under' was that bad
