Honestly, I'm not sure I'm getting the best of your work from the videos as they're currently presented. In musical theatre, songs need to clearly convey story or emotion - I feel you'd benefit from using a more neutral musical instrument (like a piano or maybe an acoustic guitar) to showcase the songs for themselves, as an electric guitar has an extremely strong personality of its own. More exciting instrumentation can be brought in later, but in the early stages at least, I reckon the melodies and lyrics really do need to be able to stand up for themselves.

I think naturally you create a look in your head of ab individual, sometimes it matches but alot of the time it really doesn't haha! |
