I don't think it's fair to say I hate everything though and not elaborate or further engage and comment on things I have enjoyed
This is being selective and making a generalisation
There are things I enjoy and post about
No matter how few
But I don't dislike everything I see
That is fair. Maybe then, on here anyway, be careful how to word the way you word things. If you start a thought on a show with something along the lines of "well this was s**t" or "I left half way though" it immediately sounds like an attack on the show rather than a review offering constructive criticism or attempting to find anything positive about the show. That is why I sometimes just write in response "Parsley doesn't like it, shock". Because it is not as though you have just disliked this one thing, it comes across that you dislike a lot of things because it happens often on here. I apologise if that is not the case but that is how it can come across.
I know you have written a few positive thoughts and regardless of them being positive or negative I enjoy reading your posts for the most part as I think they are highly entertaining.
Interesting comments all round but could we please refrain from quoting entire posts when they're as lengthy as some of these have been. If you want to refer back to someone's post just choose the most relevant bit to quote please. It makes following the thread much easier for everyone. Thanks!

On Thursday, on my regular walk home from the theatre, I had to struggle through the Beyonce fanthrong emerging from the Principality Stadium.
Then the next night, on the same walk home, I had to struggle through the victorious Wales v Belgium Euro crowd emerging from the Coopers Field Fanzone.
The Beyonce fans were much more pleasant and civilised.
Wembley stadium
She is stupid
Beyoncé
Could have sold out 6-7-8 nights at O2
Instead of a 2nd NOT sold out night at a sports venue
The Beyoncé fans are about 20 years old
They buy her clothing line Made in China and with logos stamped on the front
Their mothers and fathers paid for their concert ticket As they themselves earn the minimum wage
And will always rent a property
And have no ambition
That's likely why
Sorry Parsley although I agreed with your comments, you are talking out of your arse! I was at the Cardiff concert and it was full of 30-40year old Welsh women, for an old poof like me, it was frankly terrifying!
Not suprised so many people thought it was a let down, stadium pop shows are often poor unless you are up front. Beyoncé at Manchester arena was stunning though.
I suppose every time I've seen Madonna in a stadium I've been lucky to get in the gold circle so have felt very close to the action, but nothing has beaten the indoor shows- especially being in the mdna triangle and the tip of the heart for Rebel Heart (Madonna threatened to spank me for dropping her maraccas) . For this type of show where so much focus is on the performer and the dancers, you need to be up close. Saw Bruce Springsteen in Manchester city stadium a few weeks ago and he was fantastic - that really suited the space.

And what are you spending to get these super-close seats?
Have never paid anything above standard ticket prices, which admittedly for Madge is a lot of money. Just struck really lucky I suppose -the ones for Rebel Heart in Birmingham showed up on general sale weeks after the majority of tickets went - couldn't believe it was the very tip when I got to the seat. I won a place in the triangle through the fanclub and got catwalk side seats for S and S at the O2 when unsold VIP seats were put on general sale about 3 or 4 days before the concert. So have never paid VIP / premium etc prices for any of them.

I saw Springsteen at Wembley a few weeks ago and although the sound was terrible, he was fantastic, and I agree suited the stadium space rather than being indoors in the arena or the O2.
I saw Beyonce once and afterwards thought 'never again'. But not for the reasons you might think - I had such a wonderful experience that I knew it would never be as good if I ever saw her again.
It was back in 2009 on her 'I Am...' tour, and the day before the show I managed to get a front row ticket to the o2 show in London. She was incredible and is perhaps the best vocalist I've ever heard.
I've always said - and most probably always will - say she is the second best performer I've ever seen live after Madonna.
But they are both incredibly different performers and as far as performing goes, no one can beat Madonna. The difference between a Madonna and Beyonce show is that I feel Beyonce wants to celebrate her music, whereas Madonna wants to present her music.
I can't say Beyonce is bad, or shouldn't be playing stadium shows because I haven't seen her do one, but it takes someone very special to play a stadium and it isn't right for everyone.
Beyonce however is at a stage where she increasingly appears conceited and actually rather arrogant with it. As a popstar she is no where near as interesting as she used to be, and I genuinely do not understand this adoration thing that surrounds her. It'll be interesting to see how long this popularity lasts, because we all know it won't.
Just stumbled across this thread and have to say I'm shocked at some of the reactions.
I loved every second of The Formation World Tour. The stage set up was insane, her vocals were on point, her and her dancers didn't stop for 2hrs and the atmosphere was electric. What more would you want or expect from a stadium act?
When I saw her at The Mrs Carter Show, I really didn't enjoy it. The atmosphere was terrible, the crowd remained seated for the majority of the show and she spent more time off stage getting changed than she did on it. Formation could not have been more different. Every person knew every word to every song. I'll never forget 60,000 people singing acapella to Love on Top including all 7 key changes. Goosebumps just thinking about it.
I have seen Madonna live and you CANNOT drag Beyonce for cutting songs short when you don't hear any proper hits at Madonna shows. Instead you get remixed versions of the big songs. She's been booed every time I've seen her for these dreadful remixes. If she came on and sang the hits alongside the new album stuff, the place would go nuts. Nobody is here for a jazz version of Music, a rock version of Hung Up or a waltz Like A Virgin. I can only imagine what you'd be saying if Beyoncé did a Polka version of Crazy in Love at her show.
Oh, and in reference to something else said earlier in this thread, I'm a twenty something, I earn a lot more than minimum wage, my parents did not buy my ticket for me and I'm on the property ladder. No need to be so patronising to younger people.

Some people just have REALLY low standards please don't be shocked I saw people eating hot dogs and popcorn at the concert and drinking beer from plastic glasses Just sickening really
What shocks you?
That people have their own strong opinions? Or perhaps that some people are not media bitches and fail to be manipulated by mass marketing and the pretence that a grown woman with a small child who can actually sing and thinks she is a feminist role model still has to appear half clothed on stage pretending she is the next Nelson Mandela and is here to address world inequality and liberate the minorities
Most of the concert took place in daylight
And the visuals were laughable
And Madonna cannot be compared to Beyonce
She has been around for 4 decades
And can afford to present her material in new and innovative ways
That is the point of a live show
It's not a recital and I am EXACTLY there to see a unique one off version of a classic song And I am NOT there for a karaoke sing along like an idiot
Beyoncé is incapable of writing any of her own songs
And she failed to engage with her audience in such a large space (which was far from full given the patches of empty seats)
And if people have paid for seats (applicable to the O2 where the Mrs Carte Tour was) then there is nothing wrong with sitting in them Not everyone likes to or is used to standing and screaming like a child Some people prefer to sit decorously and elegantly The main lesson for me is that stadium concerts are likely not my thing as I am used to extravagant live shows and this sort of thing is mass produced rubbish to make the artist a quick buck with minimal effort
If you want insane
Try seeing a live opera at the Met or La Scala
One of the classic productions
As a final note
Madonna has managed to sell huge numbers of a recording of every single tour she has done based on the new and innovative song versions she has presented, some of which are remixes yes but others are just updated and modernised offerings

I've never heard a Madonna remix booed and I've seen every tour since Drowned World albeit they I've always been near the front. Perhaps you were sat at the back where the people who can't see her properley just want to hear a facsimile of the record while they drink their pints and eat their chips from polystyrene trays. I think the value you get from a Madonna gig coincides very much with the amount you pay for your ticket.

I did not even have any Madonna music
Until a friend took me along to the Reinvention Tour as a last minute thing
And after that my eyes were opened to spectacle
I also don't particularly sit and listen to Madonna songs
I really enjoy hearing songs presented in different ways at concerts,to me it showcases the artists talents and a desire to give their audience something special.
