Saw this again last night (fourth time). Waylon Jacobs on for Burr, Stephenson Ardern-Sodje on for Laurens/Philip and one of Ash Hunter's last Hamilton shows. First time with the new cast.
While I think this show had the best combination of the male cast I've seen, the chemistry was spot on between all the members of the male principal cast and while I didn't personally warm to Waylon as Burr he worked incredibly well. I would love to see Sifiso again, especially because he is officially "lead". I'm sad Ash Hunter is leaving, for me he gives a better performance of Hamilton. Stephenson is amazing, he brings dimension to John and Philip which is difficult to do and I often find people get one or the other right.
However, whoever cast the Schuyler Sisters wants shot. I still cannot stand Rachelle in her role, but atleast with Christine and Rachel she was bearable. Along side Ava and Courtney I was less than impressed. They're both clearly talented but they don't bring half of what their original cast counterparts bring.
I think they've also changed uo the choreography a little since the last time, there was just little things missing.
DOM HARTLEY-HARRIS? New best thing about the show, if he has his mouth open be prepared to leave your jaw hanging open. The most rapturous applause of the night was after One Last Time and rightfully so.

Hello!
Just booked this with the new tickets today and wondering if any fellow shorter theatregoers (I'm just over 5 foot 1 if the conversion is correct) have sat in Stalls Row G, as I'm a bit paranoid I might have gone a little close. Seems like it should be OK from TheatreMonkey (big fan sir!) but would love to hear anyone's experiences from around that area of seating.
Thanks!

That should be absolutely fine for proximity to the stage and almost a perfect view. Just hope you don’t have any tall people in front which can’t be avoided unless you’re in Row A.

Hi everyone! I've just joined this board as I've been reading this thread for days and have also managed to book to see Hamilton again in April and May, row A centre stalls and row A royal circle. I was row B and row A centre stalls before so am very much looking forward to seeing the revolve and the lights in May, and of course the new cast.

Is there any workaround to be able to buy only one of the 2 seats in the side Royal Circle boxes? Won't let me leave a single seat.

The only option I know of is buying 2 seats and then finding the plus 1. Each time I posted on Facebook smth like "spare Hamilton ticket, face value", it took me less than 10 minutes to find someone.

Anyone know what happens if the card you used to buy has expired. Going next week and still have that card, but will it still work to get the ticket?

My card had been blocked in summer after some ticketmaster problems but I had tickets booked for Dec 31, so I just used it for entering the theatre, and all went well. Will do the same in March as well

You can get in even if you no longer have the card - I had switched banks and cut up my old card, completely forgetting there was still a Hamilton booking using it. I just explained to the ushers on arrival and they sent me to the box office, who happily produced a proper paper ticket after I'd shown ID.

These accidents tut! I fell foul of a couple of row c stalls seats at £79 each. What is this magical hold it has over us?

I "accidentally" booked twice. Once for central front row (£75) and once for the slips (£20 - and which I'm sure will be horrible, but are very cheap).

The view from the slips really isn't great, but if you've seen the show before it won't matter so much. I booked a Grand Circle centre aisle seat (in my opinion the best value tickets in the theatre!) in the April ticket release but have so far resisted for May... Unless it's a special occasion that would justify shelling out for the front row, I can't imagine feeling the need to sit anywhere other than the Grand Circle any time I go back to this show!

Finally booked to see this again in May, looking forward to seeing the new cast. I loved some of the new cast members! Dom Hartley-Harris is really great Washington. Maybe not as tall as Obioma Ugoala, but with a gorgeous voice and mesmerising eyes. Jon Robyns is simply the best. The King is finally in the house for me, and the part got the depth I needed and could not see there last year. And the new dance moves as well. I got to see standby Eliza Sharon Rose and she portrays her character beautifully! I liked reading her emotions on her face - this is what Rachelle's Eliza doesn't give me, as her face stays unemotional at some points and I don't know what her character feels. With Saron, I could read her as an open book, and oh I loved that book. Hope to see her covering other sisters as well P. S. slightly less impressed with Allyson Ava-Brown's Angelica though, but maybe I'll warm to her next time? Her portrayal lacked chemistry with Hamilton for me, and I saw her with 2 different Alexanders. I was there for Karl Queensboro's first show as Hamilton, and he made an interesting one. Hope to catch him later in the run to see how his character develops, as I see a big potential there.

Hello!
I want to get a ticket for this for my July theatre weekend. the website says "government issued photo ID" must be produced to claim the ticket at the box office. I don't drive, and haven't travelled abroad in over 10 years, so my passport is out of date.
What have people here been showing at the box office to get their tickets?

They did not ask to see my ID, just the credit card I booked with. I was about to buy another ticket with theatre vouchers but saw at checkout that they do not accept vouchers, just card payments, darn.

An out of date passport is still a valud form of id; you just can’t travel on it. Ring the info line if you’re unsure.

As long as you still look similar to your passport photo that'll be fine to show as ID. My friend used theirs even though it was out of date by two years as they had lost their driving licence the day before they went to the show.

Apply for a provisional driving licence - you don't ever have to use it, but it's useful to have as ID.

Do I get to wear that swanky green outfit? If not, then I shan't bother.

If you look like your old passport just use that one, they don't need to be in date. I have a free travelcard, do you have anything like that? They took my travelcard for me.
