Also the view from up there is better than from the stalls! Noted!! Though @tom89 is right, the legroom is awful - I'm only 5ft 3 and I found it uncomfortable! For me it is worth it for the view though and much cheaper than the stalls.

Isn't the limit 6 tickets per booking period? How are these people seeing the show 20+ times? I guess either different credit cards or maybe the limit doesn't apply to the returns queue?

Look lads, I’m flying across the Atlantic to sit in the theatre for two full days of my first holiday in 2 years...I mean crazy is a relative term around here right? 😂😂😂 I thought that was part of one's way of staying sane...

That makes sense. I guess you also need to create a new Ticketmaster account using a different e-mail address. Rules are made to be broken!

I've just returned 2 tickets (Dress circle slips) for May 5th for all you ticket stalkers out there...
(and f*** me that was painful. Got cut off repeatedly, and had Ed Sheeran blasted at me 3 times over while on hold)

That’s still better than when I need to call Virgin Media and they play Robbie Williams’ latest albums on repeat.

Not long now - it's been a big enough gap between my first visit (1 week after opening night) and now, that I suspect I'll see some differences in the show. Does anyone know if Ash Hunter has specified performance dates as alternate? I am curious to see his version of Hamilton.

I honestly can’t tell who I prefer but Ash will always be my first Hamilton and he’s got a special place in my heart. I really wonder if I ever see certain mr Terera. As he was missing 5 out of 5 times I saw the show so far. Does he really exist?

I'm 2 for 2 seeing Giles. Also seen him in Avenue Q and Book of Mormon so doing well! I have seen covers Mulligan/Madison and Laurens/Phillip. I have 3 more trips this year so hoping to add to this (and booked 2 Mondays to increase the odds!)

I've been once with full cast (first preview so you'd hope so!) and once with Marsha as Eliza. She was glorious.
Going again in June and would quite like to see some of the covers, just for a new interpretation!

We’re going bank holiday Monday 28th. How likely is a full cast with no covers on that day - does anyone know? Thanks

I just spent the weekend with some lovely friends of a friend, but talking to them got me more frustrated about the Hamilton ticket situation. They’re fellow film and theatre enthusiasts - one of them even works FOH and Box Office at Royal Albert Hall, so surely she should be savvy about how everything works.
When we got chatting about various productions, when Hamilton came up they were so shocked how I had managed to see it more than once. They were still holding out before even attempting to try for tickets because they’d believed the media reports about it being sold out for the whole booking period.

They were still holding out before even attempting to try for tickets because they’d believed the media reports about it being sold out for the whole booking period. Why has that got you frustrated? It's no different to any "sold out" show - if you really want tickets a quick check online will tell you everything you need to know about availability. The website openly advertises the week before release of premium seats and the lottery, and a returns queue is not a new phenomenon for most people in relation to a sold out show (and in any event a quick Google will probably find you something about it). I don't really think it's fair to criticise the show for your friends deciding to believe the media and not bothering to do some basic enquiries themselves. Seems to me that the ticket system has been doing exactly what it is designed to do - we haven't seen any reports of touts being successful - and certainly the system at the theatre itself is very efficient.

I think it’s the media that frustrates me more than anything because certain members of the public just don’t bother trying to see things they would otherwise see. That quick Google of something doesn’t even occur to some people.
Misleading media reports in general annoy me, especially when for instance a big concert goes on sale with reports like “Sold out in 2 minutes”. It’s all complete rubbish and done to create a false sense of demand.

I understand that, but advertising needs to have impact so shows have to do things like that. It's up each individual how gullible they wish to be in terms of believing any form of media. I still cone back to the basic point that each person could do a simple search to find out if tickets are actually available for any performance, and if they can't be bothered to do so then that is their problem.

Sorry if I've missed it anywhere, but has anyone sat in Row J of the Grand Circle? I'm expecting the legroom not to be great, but to be able to see the stage...hopefully anyway! They were a rather spur of the moment purchase.

That sounds like what I thought it would be. Shame about the legroom but hopefully will be able to cope with it. I was at the Nottingham Playhouse recently and was astounded by the amazing legroom in the majority of the seats, so as long as I try not to think about that luxury, fingers crossed we'll be ok.
