I was 760 but I got to the end of the queue in 30 minutes. Plenty of choices still so keep your faith!

I take back everything I just said. 690 - through and booked by 12.35 including my usual choice 'restricted' seats. Seems to be a lot of availability early in the run and in particular on Thursday matinees should that suit anyone.

I was 2400th, got in around 1.15 but easily got the tickets I wanted - there seemed to be plenty of availability.

Life goes on and theatre is about productions not just plays but the Gillian Anderson Blanche will take some beating. One of the finest performances by an actress I have ever seen on stage.

First preview cancelled. Absolutely raging as I’d constructed a whole weekend around it, I did think to myself as we all should about booking an early preview, but reassured myself that it’s a play, not a new play, and helmed by experienced people on home turf. Nope.
Praying they can find me some house seats or something at some other point in the run but my optimism is low.

Keep a regular eye on their Twitter especially once the run starts and I'd be a little surprised if there are not a good number of seats that pop-up.

Tickets come up regularly- keep checking. Also if you are a student under 25 £5 tickets go on sale on Thursday or there is an Almeida for free in January.

Ahhh just got out of my meeting to find all the tickets are gone - will have to hope for returns the online queue really was insane btw.. 2000 people waiting to buy - was 200th in the queue here and somehow got 2 seats together , although partially restricted view .. still better than nothing. Hopefully there’s more availability soon, keep checking

Has anyone been to a relaxed environment performance at the Almeida before? There was only one showing left with tickets available so I snapped them up but now I see it's a relaxed environment performance. It says in the email this allows for 'noise and movement in the auditorium' - I don't mind some background noise but I'm just worried it might be too distracting. I realise it's my own fault for not checking before I bought and it's good they do these kinds of showings, but I want to know what I'm in for!

I wonder if it might see a transfer given how well it's sold. There's a gap between Mother Goose closing and The Pillowman opening at the Duke of York's so could fit in there for a short run. The Phoenix is another option.

Probably depends on the reviews and Mescal's schedule.
I *think* Barnaby said a new play based on existing material is going to the Phoenix. If that is the case it couldn't be Streetcar.

There was an announcement that people could leave and come back during the performance, and I think the house lights weren’t as dark as usual. As far as I recall, there was actually no noise or movement during the show and only one person left. So on that occasion, no issues.

It's so interesting that the star billing can switch between Blanche and Stanley but rarely both. Will chance my arm in Jan.

I've got 2 £10 tickets to see this on January 6th but I'm now in New York to catch the last week of Beetlejuice in case anyone fancied swapping with me for something before the end of the year? So desperate to see this but the call of Alex Brightman was too strong.

There's an announcement due from the Almeida about the run of Streetcar, I think it will come before the weekend, so probably best to hold on to your tickets until then and try and sort out ticket swaps after that.
